Two obvious examples to me:
George Boateng - should be pronounced Bwateng but everyone always said how it was spelt.

Tony Andreu - going by his pre-season vid it should be pronounced ‘Ondrur/Andrur’ but we say ‘Andrew/Andreyu’

Any others?

Two people at the match last week were constantly calling Max ‘Biam-ee’. Was doing my Swede in!

Is Wegerle pronounced as Wegg -er- lee or Wegg - earl? I've heard some American commentators use the latter, but that just sounds fricking weird to me.

I don't understand the problem.

I always pronounce Peter Ndlovu, Peter Ndlovu.

Simple.

Why did you have Roland Nilsson with you and why was it upsetting him so much?

Because he’s still bitter about no one being able to spell his surname when he was here.

I can’t say Craig Bellamy’s name without adding “tw*t”, or something of that ilk, at the end

Best just to go with Bellendamy. You can't fail then.

I understood the pronunciation was "en-lov-o", when I heard him being interviewed on the radio.

Sometimes (quite often actually) you just try too hard to make a joke of everything anyone says.
Now let's see you make a joke out of this.

Don't try hard at all, Gazbola. Always just type the first thing in my head without even thinking.
