I was lucky,at the right age ,decent job. 3 years either side and would still be at college or married.There was a few hundred at Bayern I thought there was nearer 100 at Trakia.Great photos. I don't imagine it was that easy (or cheap) to travel to Bulgaria back then - certainly no package holidays to Sunny Beach available I would have thought!

Shame we couldn't play in Europe after winning the Cup as travel within Europe was much more practical by then, although also a bit more hazardous with all the aggro around at the time.

Amazingly always on the front row at away games when we can't choose our own seats...Also makes a nice change to see a photo of City fans without the mad hatters in the front stealing the limelight. Tv cameras find them every time and I'm sure the rest of the country thinks we're all like that.
