There was a great atmosphere today, and a lot of those who are usually quiet started joining in too! A passionate crowd and a passionate performance, perfectly encapsulated by little Bigi's reaction and applauding of the crowd at the end.

While I don't agree with the idea of the protests, it did help to generate a really good atmosphere once the anti-SISU songs stopped and the fans got behind the team again.
Certainly think it sounded like we had more than the 13,000 or so City fans that were there.
YES, it was just so great to see that it meant every bit as much to him as it did to us in the stands. Almost brought a tear to my eye. Plus there was an element in his expression of "so this is what 3 points feels like"

Haha, totally agree mate. When I clocked what he was doing I started bouncing like a 5 year old at Christmas, can certainly believe he turned down United to stay with us after that.
True City player with a bright Sky Blue future ahead of him.
There was some good banter where I sit. Most people got a bit enraged by the treatment of the protesters, and it's generally a quiet bunch, and they all started to sing there hearts out after that! The Coventry 1-1 Derby scoreboard moment caused a few quips and quivers. Although for a few minutes the atmosphere was one of people going "hang on...did I miss them scoring?!?" My line was "are Geoff Foster and Martin Winch operating the scoreboard today?!"

There were some new faces around me in 15 today which was nice to see, really outraged by the scenes they saw which actually despite some comments on here to the contrary bring them back as it created a bit of unity with the fans. Not saying we should have a Fight Club-esque scene every week but that added with the win, Bigi and the young lads top performance I think we added a few fans to the pot and any of those staying away from home games which has been voiced on here tonight in my opinion isn't really a loss.
