What a load of rubbish, the FA/FL don't give a crap as already shown, the papers would rather report on how brilliant arsenal were against us rather than the turmoil our club was going through, parliament will discuss it for five seconds before all nodding in agreement it's terrible and they really feel for the fans before moving onto the serious issues like what taxes they can all dodge.

In short some fans finally getting the chance to give some fat smug twat who has helped trash the club they love won't make a blind bit of difference, it will however make them and a whole lot of other fans smile and feel a whole lot better. To put things into perspective if Sisu had done this to Leeds, Chelsea, West Ham and Fisher had bumped into their fans do you think the reaction would have been more civilised????

That was quite bemusing to read, with all the pundits criticising a League 1 side for getting battered by a near full strength team at the top end of the Premier League.

One of those comments advocates violence, the other two don't at all.

The last two comments you quoted make no mention of wishing for anyone to die.

again you arn't reading, those 2 quotes didn't wish for anyone to die, in fact one of them explicitly said he didn't wish that. One said he wouldn't care and the other said why should he care. Both completely understandable and not in anyway wishing someone to die or advocating violence.

But anyway back to the situation where there actually has been violence, it's completely unacceptable to throw a stool at someone even if fisher did deserve it (and he didn't) because you could easily get it wrong and seriously hurt someone completely innocent.

Throwing a pint at him (if in a plastic glass) well I'd struggle to criticise that. If in a Glass Glass completely unacceptable.

There is billions of people suffering in the world that deserve our sympathy ahead of people who are willing to hurt others for their own financial gain. I'd never advocate violence (well not unless you are battling against a tyrant taking peoples lives, which we clearly aren't) and I certainly wouldn't want Fisher etc to die because of their families. But I'm not sitting here upset about the people who've died on the roads today so I certainly wouldn't be caring about what happens to these people.

but this is silly, getting worked up over what a few people say, if Dale was put in a room with Joy he certainly wouldn't be pulling her nails out one by one, hes just upset and mouthing off and you know that.

Correct I am mouthing off and I wouldn't pull their nails out .

I don't really give a shit what anyone says on here , it's an internet forum . If some want to get their knickers in a twist over a few comments then thats up to them . Who cares

Pundits may have been but it's not what the papers reported, they had an excellent opportunity to bring the spot light on what was going on instead the reports all focused on how the superior class of Arsenal shone through. Our plight and demo got a mention nothing less.

I think you're slightly off here Chez ,i'd say there was plenty of exposure to the situation ,especially the level of focus BT sport gave It.

So when a man acts like a knob and his misses pours her drink on him. It's sociably acceptable. But when Fisher acts like a knob and some fellow in a pub pours his drink on him it's an attack.

At long last. I get it.

Fisher is in the role as there is a potential significant financial gain for him. Managers and players are paid because they endeavour to try to make the club better through their efforts. Fisher's gain may be achieved by taking us non-league, playing in Northampton ie the opposite of what us fans want.

A pint of beer got off likely, don't feel sorry for him he is clearly deluded

Sky Blues chief executive Tim Fisher was attacked after Coventry City’s defeat to Brentford on Saturday The Telegraph has had confirmation that Mr Fisher was attacked in a London pub packed with Sky Blues supporters shortly after the 3-1 defeat at Griffin Park.
Reports suggest Mr Fisher had chairs and glasses thrown at him after entering the pub to use the restroom while he was waiting for a train.
It is not yet known if Mr Fisher suffered any injuries as a result of the attack.
Sources have also suggested that trouble broke out between Sky Blues fans following the attack when some supporters attempted to intervene.
Relations between the club’s owners and supporters have become increasingly strained this season after Coventry City moved to play ‘home’ matches 35 miles away at Northampton’s Sixfields stadium.

Well if nothing else it seems to have finally lit a fire under GMK. They're upto 4 pages on the attack on their beloved Timmy. I think they only managed 4 post of disgust on the move to Northampton.

Have we not had people on here criticizing the fanbase for not behaving like Leeds or Millwall would, in terms of tolerating moving the team away? Because this seems like something they'd pull.

I think that was grendull. Who ironically is on his PC soap box over this. Something about every council building window should be put through, that's what Leeds fans would do.

I've regularly said Leeds and Millwall would not allow this to happen to their club.

I'd hate to imagine it would be easier to list what they wouldn't do, like e-petitions for example (not saying the one we are doing is a bad thing!)

Sixfields probably wouldn't be where we are playing for one . There would probably not be much of it left .
