Who do you think you are??? These are desperate times, football is a game of emotion and city fans have had enough.. brand it as thuggery if you want, any publicity of this type of behaviour I would view as positive publicity - if this gets on sky sports I think the majority of the football world with sympathise with Coventry supporters. Those taking the moral high-ground on this want to wake up and smell the coffee. Anything that may force SISU to u-turn to the Ricoh is good news and this will create negative publicity they won't want - a picture in a news paper of fans invading the pitch with a caption of "Coventry fans reacting angrily against their clubs ownership" will generate good publicity.

I forgot you aren't allowed to protest these days...

What about everyone storm the pitch at Northampton? And sit on it. No aggression so that keeps the do gooders happy, plus gets attention.

Although I agree it should be all or nothing. If it's just 3 people it's nothing more than kids or alcohol induced however if all of the fans did it then it would send a strong message. I don't like pitch invasions bit these are desperate measures for desperate times.

Any sort of illegal act has to be discouraged but this thread is not condoning it. Rather it is commenting on it and those who take a dim view.

I think the next pitch invasion should be a Conga line. Good comedy style in a peaceful manner, and difficult to break up as you only end up doubling the number of conga lines or spend ages dragging people off the back.

I'll be at the front wearing a Kevin Bacon mask. "Time to put this conga into reverse....!"

If we got banned from home games would that just be Northampton???:thinking about:

A mass pitch invasion would work better, but there would always be some idiots that make it not peaceful unfortunately.

However a more comical/light-hearted publicity stunt ( the black balloons at Nuneaton were good) would be better. Fathers for justice style....maybe we all ride through coventry in skin suits??

This gets the award for the most sensible post on this thread, pitch invasions are not a good form of positive press and yes we will lose sympathy and support from other clubs without doubt, do something more acceptable to the wider footballing community and keep them on our side.

I don't buy that. For as big and good as the protest was in Coventry a couple of weeks ago it received very poor media coverage in my opinion. I think the wider community are on side and I suspect that a sit-in protest in the centre circle at the start of a match would draw wide support from the football community. I cannot imagine anyone not supporting that mass action who is a genuine football fan.............

Of course this post in no way condones such action at all and I wouldn't encourage city fans to do this
