The last few years of utter tripe served up both on and off the pitch has killed the passion of many a sky blues fan, countless people I talk to these days cant be bothered to go and "waste their money" anymore, several times I've had free tickets this season that I couldn't give away due to the lack of interest.

I never thought id be put in that bracket but these last few weeks/months have pretty much finished me off too, appointing another manager many fans didn't want didn't help and then all this boardroom bickering, the subsequent sacking of the manager, no money, no investment, no ground and it just seems to be getting worse.

Then we get the usual waffle as expected from this week's press conference with immediate lies about talking to the council about buying the ground, a meeting is arranged for Friday our new team of directors say which is immediately denied by the council...........great start that fellas!

This last 3 years under Sisu have been a nightmare, yes they saved the club from administration back then but for what? were no better off now than we were then! the one promise Ranson made to the fans looks like its been broken, Brody says were as much up the creek now financially as we were back then but uncle Ray told us that the day he left the club it would be in a far better financial state than what it was when he arrived...............

I've simply had enough now, cant legislate investing anymore of my money, in the past i've gave them money towards the academy, bought a psl when the club were crying out for money but I don't really enjoy going to games anymore, particularly the home games which is now feeling a chore to go to so I have came to the decision that I will not be renewing my season ticket this summer, I will wait till august, if there are signs that things are changing dramatically or we get new owners who are prepared to invest then I will invest.

As it stands at the moment, I will be picking and choosing my away games next season as I'm not prepared to give Sisu any more of my money until I see a significant change in the way they operate,

I've been a season ticket holder for 20 odd years and can count the amount of games I've missed home and away in the last 10 years on 1 hand, actions speak louder than words and they have four months to win back me and many other fans that are falling by the wayside.

It's sad when the highlights of a home game are the pre-match beers and the half-time coffee.............

It is becoming extremely hard to enthuse yourself on a saturday afternoon to drive down to the Ricoh, find some where to park, top up your card because it never seems to be the right amount for a coffee even though I'm sure I put a tenner on the week before and sit in a half empty stadium with no atmosphere and watch an ever dwindling team play mediocre mid table (at best) football. I've been in the same position a few times this season where I couldn't pay someone to take a spare ticket off me because they'd rather go watch Leamington Brakes or sit and watch United on Sky.
I think this lack of passion has also spread to the players themselves, in the last few games there are only a small number of players that look like they want to be there, injuries haven't helped, bad signing like O'Donovan who has sat on the bench most the season and a new board that seems to have lost respect from the fans after their first press conference.

Couldn't agree more.
I've bought two Premier club season tickets 5 years ago with a life time membership.
I had to sign a contract to honour those season tickets for a period of five years. Obviously this is now up.

Am I going to sign on the dotted line again? Am I bollox.

It is aint it.
One of the reasons I don't go up the Ricoh much is, aside from the shoddy football, the lack of astmosphere.
At least at Highfield Road although the football was not that much better you could have a sing song and a laugh in the West Terrace.

Its getting harder and harder to justify paying x amount for 2nd division football and the years of same oldness

I am not prepared to pay to watch this tripe. i very nearly bought a season ticket (my first) but I have ended up working for FC Betz instead. Even though I now get paid and get to watch the match i still go home utterly depressed. How do the board expect anyone to pay when I get fed up and its free. I really do see admin coming on.
