A couple of targets are what Waggott considers to be ambitious but would be 'excellent additions' should they be successful #SkyBlues #PUSB

Welcome Messi and Ronaldo!

But one is reported to have been Jon Stead, and he turned us down (apparently). That's quite depressing

For me, that would be a good signing, even if only on loan.

Agreed pal, we need to be looking for at least one other striker- hopefully on a permanent basis

Nathan Delfouneso, Yaya Sanongo. Why is every other player these days an anagram?

We've heard this one since "better than David Healy" fro Ranson.

I'll decide if they're excellent once we've seen them play.

Agreed. Is he a like for like for Leon or would we need another player in?

Well if he can't get in Villa's team he has no chance with us.

Quicker than Leon. Only an inch shorter. Maybe not direct like for like but we are not going to get exactly like Leon Clarke. I think we need at least 2 strikers regardless.

No. Mainly because I think SP is happy with it.

£2,000 per week x 52 weeks = £104,000

So 7 players for £728,000

No? strange answer considering the amount of goals we concede. I doubt very much that Pressley is 'happy' with it as you say because why would our manager be happy with letting other teams score against us.

Seaborne and Webster are good enough for this level with Jordan Clarke and Willis as back up

Clarke isn't a CB as we have seen and for me Webster isn't quick enough and turns like the Titanic. However, what I would like to see is a Flamini type defensive midfielder who actually holds his position and would help us to see games out rather than keep attacking all the time. Even teams like Arsenal, Chelsea etc bring on these types of players to see games out. How many late goals do we concede? Too many for my liking
