Not long in from my window cleaning round and couldn't believe how benevolent all of my customers were today.I never ever ask for a Christmas tip like the refuge collectors used to do,but leave that to the customer.Yet every one gave me extra on top of the cleaning charge,except an Indian couple who gave me a tin of biscuits instead. Better than nothing ! I knew a window cleaner who would ask for a tip years ago,but stopped asking when a big bloke said the only tip you're getting is to piss off !
