1 Thats not what we're about.
2 We've got to get back on it.
3 We never got to grips with it.
4 We gifted them a goal.
5 I dont think we will fail if we play like that in the second half.
6 We've got to play for 90mins not 45.
7 We'll be fine if we keep playing like that
8 The lads are flying in training
9 Cody got a hat-trick in training
10 If we fail we'll fail in the right way

11 CCFC can play way out of relegation
12 No hoofball for us
13 We never got going
14 We should have had a penalty

Could be a best seller !!!

You missed the angry Thorn "I'm cheesed off"

Or..."it's Bigis fault" (well it's anyone's fault other than me).

So are we just repeating anything Thorn's said ever, because I'm pretty sure the Bigi thing's just been said once? In which case I'll go for "I don't want to go to school today" - pretty sure everyone's said that at some point.

So it begins.... we used to deride Dowie for saying similar things, Coleman and his nuts and bolts, Strachan for trying to make a quip..... when will people realise that pretty much everythying said in the press is not really meaningful, and its what is being said to the players away from us all.

What about the new Coventry fan phrase book? It contains gems such as:

1. I know he's only played 1 game but he's rubbish
2. This is the worst team in my <insert figure here> years of following Coventry City
3. If you cut me I bleed Sky Blue blood
4. Bring back Eric Black as manager
5. We played some great football under Gary McAllister
6. Gordon Strachan was a good manager
7. Bryan Richardson was doing his best for the club
8. I hate Incester and Vile, etc etc - this will be in the Junior version.

We should start the same for Ian off CWR...here's the first one;

1. (INSERT ANY PLAYER'S NAME) was rubbish today

Well it'd be Bell if he's playing, wouldn't it?

We could just roll them all into a Ccfc book and add lines like ...

"the clock is ticking"

Or

" no stone unturned "

Shocking omission of "Proud as punch". I swear if I hear that one more time on my way home I will crash.

The one phrase he will never utter is "I resign".

Thorn knows where his bread is buttered - the SISU side up.

Probably. My best guess. *True at time of going to press.
