That's 9 goals conceded since Christie came back now, only 5 conceded in the 6 he was out for. Is he the real problem with our defence?

is a valid question, but bit harsh on him unless he has had his head turned

Oh please! RB is one of the positions I'm most confident in with our team.

It's certainly a question that needs asking, Phillips didn't really do much to deserve being dropped

Our best defensive performances Leyton Orient, Walsall and Wolves all came without Christie

christie had a bad game today so i heard (dont go to sixfields) i think his eye has been taken off his job since he has been linked with newcastle, he needs a reality check and to come back down to earth...

Christie didn't have a good game but in fairness to Cyrus he has just come back from injury and is still trying to get back to speed what I would have liked to of seen is the emphasis of the attacking side of our play being stuck on the left hand side instead of switching it, but no doubt Cyrus is strong going forward but Blair in the games before Cyrus' return Blair looked fantastic going forward.

The thing is Ecky I am not sure about that, simply because Conor and Fleckie are playing really well, I wouldn't want to break that up, I think it might be a part of the reason we lost so badly today. Moussa is quality, but until we can get a player who can tear down the left at a 100MPH and own defenders, we should keep Mousse out there.

He was poor on Sunday and also poor against Wimbledon. He should not have been rushed back into a winning team.

Tbh, after listening to SP post match, even he singled out Christie for being 'fatigued'.

I didn't go either and relied on the City's twitter account as was stuck at a birthday party.

Brother in law just got back and said he needs to up his game if he wants to play at a higher level

Is that the distraction perhaps?

I think so! There was a tweet last week from a Spurs fan who said a deal was almost done for them to sign him in January. His performances haven't been to his usual standard since. Out of contract at the end of the season, so his agent would be advertising his services? Yep, id say he's distracted

I think it was Geoff Foster who said earlier that the he believes Cyrus should sign a new contract and show some loyalty.

On the other hand although Cyrus would be a huge loss, Aaron Phillips has shown in his fee games and sub appearances that he would be a more than adequate replacement.
