Lets see the clubs stance on keeping our best players with Christie now being chased by a number of clubs before the window shuts

Long-term admirers? But he's only about 12 isn't he?

Reading the thread title, the Benny Hill theme immediately popped into my head.

I thought exactly the same. I can see a speeded up Christie being chased by nurses and schoolgirls.

Sadly I think you are right. Unless our situation drastically improves between now and January he will be gone in the next window.

The rumour is getting old now.. Ipswich have been linked with Christie since the beginning of the summer and at one point so were Stoke City!

Don't believe everything you hear folks.

Once something concrete is established then I might think about this.

Yeah BUT his contract is up at the end of the season and he is capable of playing at a higher level and would command a fee. I agree a move right now is unlikely but come the January window he'll go unless our situation has changed.

The only reason any of our better players haven't left is because nobody has come in for them not because fisher/pressley have told them theyre not leaving.History tells us that at the first sniff of an offer they fall over foaming at the mouth.

in this article it states that robbie nielson wont be signing on. I think hes here to gain match fitness more than anything, and maybe to help with the youngens. All seems a bit strange mind!

His contract is up at the end of the season. The only reason he is still here is because the club have put a very high price on his head. Circa 2million. This number will erode as the season progresses. I expect him to be sold around January for less than half that figure. All guess work based on circumstantial evidence and the clubs recent history in such matters. Hope I'm wrong.
