You would wonder where we would be if we gave him the job a few yrs ago. Sheffield United just need 3 points now to reach the premier league after Leeds losing today with their superior goal difference. It will be interesting to see how our old boys Feck and Mcgoldrick and Norwood and Craine do next season.

Didn’t he turn us down to stay with Oxford? Said he was committed to them but then has shat on every other Club he’s managed when a better has come up (clearly didn’t see us as being better than Oxford st the time?).

I’m sure that’s the reason I have always taken a dislike to him, and think he’s well matched for Sheff U (who id love to see lose in the play offs; might even buy a ticket so I can see it happen for myself )

They've given him a lot more resources than he'd have got here

Considering robins record ar cov you have to imagine he could do similar if he was given sheff utf job

We have what we need in terms of management. Case of finding enouff £££ to see it through though

Not really, Sheffield United are in a completely different position to us.

I wouldn't fancy taking on the villa in the play offs 10 wins in a row

Sheff Utd have far better resources than us, the question should be where would Coventry be if Robins had been given the same luxuries?

TBF to Wilder he did brilliantly everywhere else, resources or none. Sheffield United compared with some of the other top half Championship clubs are hardly swimming in cash, he's done a fantastic job. Look at how he has improved Fleck, even managing to make him lose a stone.

Yup, been a success everywhere he's been.

In the old days, he'd now be a cnadidate for one of the top jobs when it came up.

I rate Chris Wilders achievements in the game. Like them or not he’s done a phenomenal job at Sheffield United in a short space of time playing a impressive brand of football.

Achieved success at
Oxford - national league play offs 2010
Northampton - L2 2015/16
Sheffield United - L1 2016/17 and now championship promotion 18/19

Another who’s rose from the depths of non league winning promotions as there career progresses. Similar progression as the Cowley Bros doing the same with Lincoln and heading the same way with more levels of success as there stock rises.

Good to see English managers rising in the game with a culture of hiring continental managers increasing
