The one player robins needs to ensure he resigns next year

He is exactly what the club needs. He is a talismanic player at our low level and even out of position is rock solid.

Why he's never played professionally before I can't understand.

Stokes is just the sort of player a team needs 7/10 guaranteed every week

He was 9/10 today despite having no match fitness and being out of position.

If he has been fit all season he would have made a difference.

I am really pleased for George Thomas as well. The only other player who deserves any credit this season.

However Bigis post match interview on the pitch really is the stuff of legends.

It was comedy gold. George Thomas being very sanguine modest and calm. Bigi yelling about gifts from God - not just about him (though it clearly should be) - how Bigi has trained the academy a belief almost single handedly - and a lot more shouting about God.

Great performance once again and clearly getting back to his best

He of all the players celebrating was great to see especially since he doesn't have a direct connection to the club like others do

He is a class act of which we do not have many in our team - thought Turnbull and him looked pretty good tbf. We are lucky to have him have badly missed him this year, Hope we can keep him there is a player in Turnbull in there somewhere too Stokes may be able to bring out the best in him also!

Stokes is a good player. I'm sure I can remember him getting a lot of stick on here in his early days though. Such a shame it sounds as if his injury was badly managed. He was expecting to be back before end of last season.

Thought Stokes had an absolute cracker today, especially considering he had been out for so long. I agree its essential we keep him for next season.

Thought Turnbull also had a good game, and as I have felt before think we still lack steel in midfield.

Did anyone see stokes at the end. Jumped over the barrier and gave his boots to a young fan at the front behind the goal.
