You'd give the armband Reda next season, but stokes would definitely be up there for vice, grew in confidence this season. Was surprised how good he looked at center half

Give Reda the armband? Is that so he can put one of his limbs in a sling?

Reda will not be here next season. Almost nailed on certainty.

Id definitely have him back. Was just very unlucky this season, along with turner. 3rd time lucky and all that

Give reda the armband next season? Reda shouldn't even be offered a contract for next season.

Given where he came from and was free, stokes has got to be one of the best permanent signings we've made in a long time.

Stokes is looking more and more like the type of professional footballer
you'd love to see spend his entire career with your club, real club man.
Would definitely 2nd the captain shout.

Pearce though was known and we paid a fee. It was always considered he would make a step up.

This guy was widely ridiculed on here by the knowledgable brigade (one in particular was constantly looking for any mistake he made) and had no real pedigree at all.

He won't win Player of The Year - Armstrong will - but there is a strong case he should.

Got to be one of the, if not the most improved player.

Last season he looked decent but lacked fitness. With a proper pre season behind him he's been quality.

Always reliable even when he played at CB!

Would say it will be Armstrong, but both Vincelot and Stokes should be in with a shout too.

Rickets was also looking very assured, until the injuries took hold, would take something
out of the ordinary to prevent Armstrong getting it. Stokes has been fantastic tho.IMO

Yep and those are the kind of players you build a team around, wish we had a couple more like him.

Definitely need him signed up for another few years. Don't know about captain though, wouldn't want to put too much pressure on him or detract from his football. Love watching him play though, you just know you're going to get complete commitment and he will put himself on the line for the club. Agree about Vincelot too, we've been a flair team this season so the more solid defensive players maybe haven't got the attention they deserve but these two would be well up there for POS.
