Chris Squire the Yes bass player died last night...

I realize Yes are not to everyones taste but I loved them back in the 70's and still listen to them now.
Chris Squire was an amazing bass player and extremely talented song writer..

Every time we lose one of these guys it's like losing an old friend... R.I.P.

Very sad news indeed, he was the best there ever was. Always playing high in the treble rather than low and fuzzy. He also had a great singing voice too that complimented Jon Anderson perfectly. I saw Yes many times over the years, too young to have seen them in the 70's though. I met Chris after their Birmingham concert on The Ladder tour in about 1999. Saw Yes last time on 6th May last year in Leicester. He will be greatly missed.
