Good player at this level, versatile, good age, probably not using a huge amount of the budget... I'm happy enough

Hasn't he already signed for Atlanta in Jan & he are a 5 month stop gap?

Does it not say he is joining on loan UNTIL January and he misses the first three games due to a suspension?

Permanent? Doesn't that say he is signing for an MLS side in January?

Happy to have him here mind. Haven't seen much of him, but what I have I have liked.

Good signing that. We get a good player, and the moaners get to complain about him only being here till January.

And that he misses the first 3 games & he's another Centre mid & it's not Carl Baker or Reda Johnson!

Boooo!!

On paper this looks a very good signing. A quality left sided player.

January...what usually happens in January???

Ahhh yes...we plummet in form...a great time to be bringing a 'replacement' in rather than adding to what we already have. I thought we were dispensing with this 'loan' policy?

...onwards & upwards PUSB

Don't think I've seen him play. Is he any good? What sort of player

From a Wigan fan friend;

More a solid midfield who can make some decent fwd surges when he wants to. One of our better players towards back of last season

Isn't he the 4th signing?

Not sure it's worth it until Jan. TM is working hard on having out own players. When he utilises the loan market, wouldn't it be better to have season long loans?

I don't know a lot about him either.
I see they said left midfield and can play in defence.
Is he a possible wing back?

Good thing about shorter loans is you can send them back if they are not used or turn out to be shit

Surprised it took until post 12 until the moaners crawled out from their rock.

You are a twat.

So first choice midfield looking powerful now, Jones, Vlad, Vincelot, McCann with Rose able to cover most injury situations.

Just hope McCann replacement gets lined up well in advance of his departure.

Does he play same side as Lameiras ? Maybe Mowbray is hoping he'll have kicked on and be a bit more ready for first team by Jan

I may be wrong but isn't McCann a more box to box left footed cm?

Ball player like fleck, but better engine & quite a bit better?

Yep, that's how I see him. Great engine, box to box. Think he has a pretty good shot on him too.

Will it be him and Vincelot in front of the back 4 perhaps, with Vlad ahead flanked by Jones and Lameiras/Rose? Almost there on the midfield I feel, maybe one more for depth. Strikers and defenders next please!!!

sounds like a great signing. shame its only till jan. but from sounds of it we wont have loads of these type deals this year so i guess its not end of world. maybe him and joe cole for 4-5 months will be it when it comes to short term deals.

Would imagine so, quite like the look of that 5 man midfield, assuming it's not going to be 352.

Like you said defenders now the priority if it is 4 at the back with RCC number 1, only Stokes LB appears to be the only nailed on starter at the minute.

When does the American season start?
Isn't Cole available from October? (But the new loan system means he can't join then?) would the new season start feb/March time?

Looks a good signing. Wonder if he plans to get a replacement in the Jan windows or things one of our younger players will step up.

Why not? Vincelot is capable of making a late run to get on the end of the cross. Same goes with Rose.

Jones will be expected chip in with goals from an attacking role this season, and we haven't seen enough of gadzhev and McCann to know they won't score any goals.
