Their role in our upturn shouldn't be overlooked , There aren't too many championship sides operating with a former England performance manager and 2 Chelsea assistant managers and coaches in their ranks .

Alot of these players are probably being coached at a level they've never been coached at before .

And that's alongside frank who also has his Uefa A licence

There are some individuals who look ten times the players they did under MR… Step up Ellis Simms! He leads the line effectively, even in games he doesn’t score! Top player, top striker in this league!!!

Give Lampard credit for that. He's assembled the team, he's responsible for how they perform.
Think Jones in particular has a huge imput.

I don't know who they are or what they look like. Not like Vivesh and Lawrence who were both more vocal than than the manager and seemed more of a presence

I was probably more excited about their appointments than Lampard's, as they just seemed to be such a huge upgrade on Delaney and Boateng.

Edwards is an interesting one isn’t he. Well regarded enough to get a championship manager job.

Wonder if Lampard will look to bring in Cole or Morris too down the line.

We have a Premiership set up.

Expect it to be expanded in the summer

To be cynically facetious, doesn’t Dr Roberts deserve credit for these performances?! After all, she’s Performance Director?!

Joking aside, it goes to show just how ridiculous the criticism of her really was!

Not disagreeing with you at all, but wasn’t Simms class from December to April last year also?
Just playing Devil’s Advocate here and saying he’s doing now what he did for half a season last year….
Hopefully Lampard & co will help it stick this time.

Agreed! The difference this season is that Simms is starting to add a lot more to his game in open play. It feels like he’s adding more in holding up the ball and using that to contribute to build up play.

Perhaps that’s my perception in this moment, but I’ve always been a fan of Simms’.

Now that we got rid of Carr & Boateng maybe we can bring in more down the line.
As Delaney was dropped to the role of Senior Professional Development Phase Coach, taking charge of the Sky Blues Under 21s and if we manage to get rid of Aled Williams hopefully that makes room for one or two more to really make us dangerous.

Even if we don’t go up this season, everything is in place for a proper go of it next season, including going up automatically. I reckon FL would only leave once he gets us promoted and being competitive in the PL.

I wonder if they're still planning to bring in a DoF (or as King referred to it, sporting director)?

Can't rember if he spoke about this before or after Lampards arrival. Maybe Frank's told him he doesn't want one.

You only have to look at our set pieces especially corners and the amount of goals we are scoring from them to see what a difference they have made. Even under MR and Vivash we hardly ever scored from corners

Having players with quality delivery helps.
Rudonis set pieces are excellent.

Apparently Frank is all in on what Claire-Marie brings - he gets it - and I suppose you could say it’s working.

To be fair the set pieces are done by Aled Williams and John Dempster.

Might also be some future planning with Joe Edwards if Lampard leaves in the future. Regarded highly, and has been a head coach before (didn’t go great but Millwall really didn’t suit him as a team).

Hats off to whoever recommending signing Rudoni as a replacement for O'HARE, Rudoni is a better all-round player.

I imagine that's the minimum that coaches of this level have. I'd expect most of them to hold a Pro licence

When Preston were brining on Potts and Riis, Edwards called Bidwell over was straight into his ear giving him instructions calmly and thoroughly . Just good to see being so proactive.

Some of those corners from the right by Rudoni are things of beauty. They have a high arc and seem to dip at the end. Goalkeeper's nightmare.
