Really thought we might have turned a corner after our last 2 performances, despite the results and late goals, but seems not. It's a typical Cov result, this. Good games against 2 better sides, but the best way to stay up is to beat the teams around you in the table. Seems we can't do that. If we're going to stay up, these are games we have to win.

Well....Slade has a chance to immortalise himself in CCFC folklore if he manages to keep us up. The main thing that's disappointing is that he's had time to work with them since the last league game. More signings and miracles needed now...

It does.

If he shows anger and passion then maybe you think he will sort it out.

If he comes out and just shrugs his shoulders and says we have to dust ourselves down and come again, then that might be just empty rhetoric.

He needs to be passionate, say it as it is and what he intends to do about it.

Reilly. I forgot Reilly. Reminds me a little of James Bailey. Looks like he could be decent but was quite disappointing

Thought after his debut he wasn't seen much probably because he was doing the basics well. Today how ever he didn't do the basics well and was more noticeable as to what he struggles to do.

Not going to write him off mind as not many came out of that with any positives

If we do get relegated slade is the man to get us promoted he needs time. Venus screwed us up by not getting a manager in as soon as mogga walked. But he had to be Billy big balls and act as manager that's what's ultimately cost us our league one status the arrogant prick

Why all the pessimism on here?
a) We're projected to make £1m profit - that's fantastic business acumen in these troubling times....
b) We can't drop any lower for months...............'until we're relegated at the end of the season' I hear the moaners argue
c) There's still plenty of time left in the transfer window (not just for signings, but for up to 4, yes 4 loan players from 'big' teams like Burton Albion....)
d) We're only two games away from Wembley - yes the 'National Stadium'!! The last time I saw us there was in 1987, so that's a hell of an achievement if we can get there after 30 years!!
