This is my first match report on my blog www.covcitynews.blogspot.com let me know what you think.
The sky blues cruised to a 2-0 win at league two side cheltenham in first of 4 friendlies this week. Leon clarke scored a screamer from 25 yards to give the sky blues a 1-0 half time cushion. Then in the 73rd minute Cyrus Christie slotted home to secure the win for the sky blues. Clarke's goal was certainly a contender for goal of the pre season ( if such thing exists!!) after a ball from Billy Daniels, clarke turned and curled an unreachable shot into the top right hand corner. With 17 minutes to go callum wilson played in Christie down the line before the right back cut inside and smashed a shot into the bottom corner rounding off a good win for the sky blues. 199 sky blue fans travelled, hats of to everyone one of them.
Can I just mention that I'm finding the blue and white colour scheme a bit hard to read, and suggest that a change of font colour from blue to black would make an interesting report much easier for these old eyes to read.
thanks everyone and Big_Ben yeah sure i can change that. Also ccfc92 there are no highlights on this game mate competely forgot to record, but the others i go to there will be highlights on my youtube channel CCFCMatchdays!!

Clark was the only player I would single out for praise at CB, but we need an old head at the back, why on earth do we not put the Edge and Malaga in the shop window and play one of them with the youngsters?
We won but they were poor, teams like Wolves and Sheffield will tear these youngstes apart.
