Wonder if this will make national and international news? http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/racist-vandals-target-willenhall-mums-8679582 now for me, this is far worse as it's on our own doorstep and little kids getting targeted. Shocking! Wonder if this will get a public outcry?

It is indeed shocking, don't know about public outcry yet, but it's got it's own thread which you haven't managed to contribute to.

I imagine it's because of this that a group of football fans abused a French black person in Paris the other night.

I wonder if it's far worse for you as the victim was white? Both of the stories are as abhorrent as the other, yet for some reason you seem to dismiss one as nothing. Strange that, isn't it?

I think it is worrying the fact that someone must get hurt by some people to take note and condemn such appalling behaviour, these scenes have no place in football and in modern society. I think the irony is that they would be cheering Drogba as a 'god' when they won champions league.

As for the UKIP arguement, i dont think there is a direct linkage and you will find that a decent proportion of their following are fully educated but maybe misguided. The rest probably more sheep mentality but you could also say that about the other major parties...

What Chelsea fans do on a train in Paris is irrelevant to me. What happens 2 mins away from me is relevant. That's why. How hard to grasp? Trying to put words in minds are you? Plus has anyone been charged yet for the Paris stupidity? It seems the media made those 6 lads guilty without any real evidence. But hey football fans easy target for a witch hunt

Yeah, think the video was made up by Stanley Kubrick, like he did with the moon landings.

Apart from a shove (which is bad but not front page worthy) the song was actually not sung by those 6 in the doorway. You can see that. But the media-press are assuming these 6 are guilty. I forgot innocent till proven guilty is defunct in 2015

Yeah the bloody MSM, with their warmist, leftist agendas just hide the TRUTH.

Look at that poor UKIP candidate mocked for asking a perfectly reasonable question about what happens when renewable energy runs out?

Yeah, what then hey?

In your face MSM and your "green", warmist agendas.

Your missing my point and going off on your own agenda. I haven't mentioned any political parties or anything about the left. So why bring it up?

Ive watched the video back and I recommend you do the same. exactly what did happen. The camera pans to the left and you can hear the chant "were racist and thats the way we like it". Not one of the lads at the front of the door lip's are moving. There is no evidence whatsoever to suggest they sang or even pushed the poor bloke.

From what I remember you cannot see which specific individual(s) are pushing him. Assumptions wouldn't be enough to convict anyone...except in a "kangaroo court" maybe.

I think everyone accepts there is racism in every culture. You will however usually find white on black or asian racism given a far higher profile in the media. I think its considered more shocking, some kind of in built guilt complex because of the actions of our forefathers. Probably understandable.
To me it's a shitty incident and an embarrassment but is it worth the level of coverage it got? Questionable.

I think the answer is, newsworthy, most definitely, but not headline news.

It still was an ugly incident and makes you wonder how much racism is still prevalent in the football world in particular.

Anyway, if these fans are so proud to be racist, then they should be principled enough to make the decision not to attend Chelsea matches while the club continue to field black players in their matches.

It's the old 'I don't like black people, but my mate Leroy is alright' adage seemingly.

I think depending on what defines racism there may well be a lot more in society than what you see on the surface. I'd sooner live in a predominately white area than a predominately Asian area, why? I feel more at ease amongst people more similar to myself. Am I racist, maybe that comment means I am? However I have never judged a man I have met by his skin colour or religion so maybe I'm not. At least I'm honest I guess
