Cheers Thorny. You managed during the most uncertain period in the history of the football club. If you'd got your substitutions right in the first three games, we'd be sitting top 6, you'd have a your job and everyone would be calling you the new messiah. The Line Is Fine. All the best you big bastard.

Thanks Thorny for allowing me to celebrate getting a win 13 times in 60 games. Seems a top bloke but that is all.

Genuine thanks for bringing some great talent to the club on the cheap; not just as Manager but also as Scout.

Hope he gets a quality scouting job somewhere - he's well worth one.

Win ratio 30% vs clueless one at 21%. Northampton stayed up had a good start and the crowd like him.

No thorn was the worst by a country mile. Inept inarticulate and totally clueless. Good riddance.

I appreciate Grendel continually pointing out Thorns record, it was appalling the win ratio being the worst ever in the history of the club, it was impossible for Thorn to survive any longer, we have finally put him out of his misery.

How simple the world you live in is. Must be nice!

Sod context - in your world a Manager with a 30% win ratio and a £100mil budget is better than one with a 29% win ratio and no budget.

No worries then - Thorn will stroll into another management job as Boothroyd did - where do you think he will go?

Did Boothroyd have £100 mil budget? Do you think he will get another job as a manager?

It's never been personal for me. I m glad he is nt managing us now but hold no ill feeling towards him whatsoever. It's the fault if the oafs that put in him in the position in the first place

Point is statistics don't take context into account; and to ignore it is to ignore the whole reason for our plight.
