I'm a season ticket holder for both CCFC and Wasps and I'll be going with no guilt whatsoever.
Just need to make sure I take the right hat, scarf and gloves.

You should feel guilty and ashamed

There will be more than enough tickets for everyone I would have thought.

Nowt to be embarrassed about and I wouldn't even give anyone any stick for being NOPM but then going to the Wembley game.

instead, just give 'em stick for not being a NOPM and not going to the Wembley game...

I wouldn't mind Swansea U23's at home, give some more kids a good thrashing

this is the first season I've not been to a game, but can't justify the train ticket back to cov and match ticket anymore. However I would 100% go to Wembley though, just as if I still lived in cov I'd have a season ticket.

I was thinking the same thing. Potential buyer sees sell out Wembley crowd with just 8,000 currently st home. Obviously no guarantees but can't be bad publicity

If we took 40K to a final in a competition like this it wouldn't do our chances of attracting the attention of a buyer any harm.

Then why do you live in Earlsdon? :-o
They profess 55 % come from a CV postcode.

Because it's an alright area ? I've lived in Cheylesmore and Coundon and I'm a proud Coventrian. You don't have to live in a box flat to not be a middle class prick I can assure you, I work with some right handjobs from Warwick/Kenilworth etc. and they spend more time slagging off Cov than they do anything else.

I know football has gone far far away from the working class sport it once me, but fuck me, Wasps are just a wanky middle class gimmick...I'd rather have a Checkatrade quarter final over that shite any day !!!!!

Wife teaches in Warwick. Apparently the kids think Cov is the ghetto and asked her if she's ever seen someone get stabbed.

Fair comment.

Do they say batch? Is it "grarse" or "gr-ass"?

She should say "Only when they didn't do their homework" and pull out a pretend knife*

*Unless she wants to keep a job I guess.

Not a fair comment at all. Lived and worked in Warwick most of my life proud to have been born in cov and we go back generations in the city, but some of the comments on this thread assuming all are posh or look down on cov playing up to the stereotypes. There are areas in the city I wouldn't feel comfortable in but most of whats referred to here sounds nothing more than a bit of banter.
