I see what you did there....He could split the ticket I suppose, but what was the name of the site?
Never used it tbh, i always book Virgin trains well in advance for like £8 each way to London.Does it knock much off?
Ie save £5 but wait 2 hours? Or does it have really good savings?
Thanks all - lad at work going to Blues West Ham in cup was looking at £700 for 4 of them now about £120. Half of me didn't want to tell him as he's a bluenose![]()
No need to go into James Raffell boat territory, Nick.Just say give you 400 and you will sort it![]()
Does anyone have that link please that was posted on here a while back for cheap trains that breaks the journey down? I cant remember it and looking for one on Mytrainline and it's not the best.
Thx in advance.

I think the way it works though is you stay on the same train, but say it costs £100 Cov to London one way (this is all made up prices) it allows you to book Cov to Watford (£20) and Watford to London (£15) as seperate tickets but you stay on the same train. Therefore saving £65.
There's no waiting around. You stay on the same train but just 'split the ticket journey. e.g. Coventry to Manchester is £100 say, you buy a ticket to Crewe for £40 then from Crewe to Manchester for £40 it saves you £20. In terms of savings, sometimes it can be a few quid, sometimes it can be a lot. Can almost consume your life searching for cheaper ways to travel if you use the train a lotDoes it knock much off?

Anything that goes to/through Temple Meads is extortionate for some reason, good luck finding cheaper.Cheers I have a trip to Bristol next May and it’s looking at near enough £200 return for 2 so would like to reduce that!
