The 18 year old who came on and scored 2 goals for Sheffield Utd against Spurs in the cup was once with us....

"Adams was discarded by Coventry before Wilson picked him up. "

He looked mighty impressive when he came on!!! --> another one slipped through the net?!?!

The article is very true though regarding the whole system,, 30% english players in prem not enough and nobody can tell me its because we don't have them at grass roots or at non league level.. Its the bigger clubs being lazy and cost cutting regarding the scouting,, as for this individual it will happen to every club in the land.. They all have released a player that has moved on and doing well at a different club, no blame attached to the club here..

Listened to Radio 5's unbelievably patronising coverage last night. It was unthinkable that Sheffield Utd had the brass neck to score against Premier League opposition. What's more, the scorer was young, English and they'd never heard of him but he could still score against the mighty Spurs.

I think Steve Heighway studied in the city as a student, rather than a player that was on our books.
