Something talked about on here regularly (and something I'm against) is dicks that think it's big and it's clever to run on the pitch to celebrate a goal being scored.

Today, however, it was the Charlton knobers turn to act up in front of their coked up mates. But on slipped, proper feet up in the air and crocked one of the players right in the bollocks.
Imagine injuring your best player and him having to be subbed off and you then subsequently lose the game! That was big and clever of you.

Bet he’s now really popular with his mates. Hope he gets a ban.

Absolutely hilarious. Roared with laughter when I saw it and woke the Mrs up. Can't say she was too impressed!

Sometimes the spur of the moment takes over when celebrating and you have no intention of celebrating with the players it just happens as they might be near you - Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo will he now receive a 3-year ban for running on the pitch yesterday as he is classed as a supporter of these circumstances - Don't see any harm in these one-off moments

He should claim it was a protest. People will want him knighted.

Don't see any harm?!?! Apart from a player possibly needing to be subbed through injury?!
In this case, he'd of been winded and could of ran it off, but imagine this 'tackle' was a bit lower and into the knee of a player such a Jodi Jones who's coming back from an ACL! YOU are now responsible for putting one of our most valuable forwards on the sidelines for the remainder of the season. Right in the middle of a play off push.
Well done fella, I hope you enjoyed your spur of the moment celebrations.

Btw, I'm talking about Charlton being in the middle of a play of push, not us.

Presumably all the Charlton players got booked, like Luke Thomas was?

His mum has confirmed in a press conference that he's not that type of supporter and was honestly going for the ball

Looks to me like he got two of them!

There have been many occasions where I've wanted to kick various CCFC players in the balls, but those moments tended to be when we've conceded, not when we've scored!

But why did the player need to be subbed off anyway? A couple of minutes hard breathing and sniggering from his team mates and he ought to have been fine!

I don't think he did get subbed off. I was just making a point of how easily a situation like this could go wrong and end up in somebody getting seriously injured and needing subbed off.

Some people have said the lad should lose his job over this. As far as I can see he's already got the sack.

If the spur of the moment is taking over and causing you to run on to the pitch When we score, I suggest you take a long hard look in the mirror or go seek help to ensure it doesn’t

All if but’s and maybe’s. It’s like saying what if that bloke happens to have a gun in his pocket, it goes off and hits a player in the leg. Sometimes people can get carried away in the moment. Yes it’s illegal to enter the pitch, but there seems to be a few on here who seem to think everyone should politely applaud when a goal goes in. With the working class background that football has, for a lot of people the match on a Saturday is their only release. I would argue how far do we actually go in sanitising football? We’re doing exactly what the FA/Premier league want us to do which is to clean up the image of football for investors/sponsors. This in turn makes them more money so they can give each other ludicrous bonuses like they did with Richard Scudamore. Football is already getting way too sanitised as it is.
