I can only put the first misplaced passes down to nerves and maybe wanting to impress

His first three passes went to the opposition.

Already mentioned by id look at a 4-4-2. I agree with some of the issues but think more so we look tired.

Might have to freshen things up here. So would probably say even though it’s controversial.

Rushworth
KKH - Thomas (if fit) - Kitching - Bidwell
Rudoni - Grimes - Eccles - EMC
Simms - Wright.

He’s not going 4-4-2, I don’t know why people keep suggesting it.

Because we obviously need to ditch the system that has us 8 points clear at the top of the league

Look, if the England cricket team can throw a curveball and send the bowler, Brydon Carse in to bat at number 3 in the Ashes, I don't see why we can't play this lad and stick him up front, just to confuse the hell out of Charlton

It's true but MVE should be rested at this point if he's still struggling.

I would 100% agree with dropping MvE for this one if it should happen.

He starts because Dasilva can’t and Bidwell, unfortunately, isn’t good enough. That said I expect Lampard to play Bidwell away at Charlton. To be honest we just aren’t blessed at all in that position

Would be interesting team:

Rushworth
KKH, Wolfy (but hope it's Thomas),Kitching,Bidders
Grimes,Torp,Eccles
EMC, Simms, Wright

Front three probably would never happen, but would be something different. Our best form of defence is to attack. Saka and Rudoni to come on once EMC and Wright have run Charlton ragged.

Last game for a fix and JDs back for Brum. Bidwell you hope can do a decent job against Charlton.

He had few ropey moments but played well Vs Swansea overall. Not sure why people are acting like he isn't a good option for a few games

I assume brau played only because bidwell already marked to play 2/3 festive games.

Not sure that's fair considering the opposition and it being his first start. He was very good against Southampton. Also, the rest of the team was way below par on Monday evening. Writing him off is a little OTT, in my opinion.

Because of our left back issues I expect we go 3 at back if Thomas fit. Can KKH play left wing back ? course he can !

Have to say I would probably not play Bidwell again unless we are in absolute dire straits and have no choice. He's really not very good. Certainly had his moments, but his time has come and gone. We want promotion so no sentimentality.

There is a JDS shaped wheel that’s fell off one side and a BTA shaped one that has come off the other side…. But we are going to pop a wheelie and go storming through the next 2 away games by the seats of our pants…,

I wouldn’t be rushing Thomas back for this one, have him primed for Brum on Sunday.
Maybe time to put Rudoni on the bench, Eccles can do a more than adequate job and then we do have a game changer we can bring on.
Tempted to start KKH just to give Van Ewijk a little breather.

He’s certainly a better defender than Dasilva. Brau looks to have some positional sense and decent pace. Bidwell the opposite.

He was a liability. Bidwell wasn’t great boxing day but I’d feel a lot better with him playing tomorrow.

Wouldnt be surprised to see lots of rotation tomorrow possibly a back 5. Wouldnt mind Simms and Wright as a front 2.

I actually agree but then it means dropping the only forward showing any kind of form in EMC. Maybe time to test my theory that EMC would make a decent striker.

If you had to play someone I’d pick the guy whose played 600 games - mostly at this level - above a guy from the Spanish second division with no evidence he’s ever going to make it

Yeh I get that just wonder if this might be the game to give him a rest.

Decisions for Lampard for sure.
