Exactly what it says basically. Charlie Kirk shot at a rally in Utah. Not sure if he's died or not.

You certainly know youre doing something right for somebody to want to silence you! Some fucking nut jobs out there!

As much as I disagree with a fair few on here, would never wish harm on any of you!

There are plenty of people of many, often completely contrasting, political persuasions that have been attacked/killed, so they can't all be doing something right for people to want to silence them.

And of course I abhor the attack on Kirk, no matter how much I may disagree with him on many aspects, just as I do on anyone else.

Anyone who thinks they don't have the right to their opinions in the UK doesn't know how lucky they are. Another solid argument for not having legal firearms

The hysteria and hypocrisy is astounding.

High school shootings, it’s our 2nd amendment rights and a price worth paying. 1 far right activist, it’s a disgrace, there’s going to be civil war.

And as if Trump gives a fuck. He’s probably delighted as it will keep Epstein out the news. We’re talking about a man who pardoned a mob intent on killing democrats and some republicans including Trump’s own VP after fanning the flames with conspiracy theories. Just last week he cancelled Kamala Harris’ security detail in what leaving her vulnerable to the type of nut jobs he himself emboldens.

Sorry for his family and loved ones but if you preach hatred don’t be surprised if it finds you.

Not really it’s a statement of fact. Anyone remember the name Melissa Hortman? Look it up and see Trump’s response, he took it as an opportunity to have a dig at Tim Waltz.

Trump will milk this for as long as he can to keep Epstein out of the news, you watch him change the subject to Kirk anytime Epstein is mentioned. You know he will. Trump has no issue with political violence as he proved with inciting the capital riots and then pardoning them at the first opportunity and then his response to the assassination of a democratic lawmaker and her husband (their dog too if I remember correctly) and the attempted assassination of another democratic lawmaker and his wife by the same MAGA loon.

He's one of three or four on the forum who have reacted in a very distasteful fashion over this.

Not a single one of those people are those that would generally fall on the same politics side as Charlie Kirk either, which says a lot.

I'm quite happy to admit to not being on the same side of politics that says school shootings is a price worth paying.

Whilst I don't agree with his stance on guns, again, you and several others really know nothing about him or what he's talked about. You've gathered a few tit bits and turned it into a leftist pity party, because you know deep down the rhetoric from your side of the spectrum has in all probability contributed to people taking fairly normal view points otherwise, and thinking that they're not only radical, but that someone should be killed for them.

If you don't have anything constructive to add, I would sit this one out.

They say that people on the right or far right are crazy but at least you know where you stand with them, as for the left and far left they are far more dangerous and sinister as they too are lunatics but unpredictable. Just my opinion.

There we go with the projection again. Nowhere have I said he deserved to be killed.

As for your last line, that's a bit rich coming from the man who labelled me and others 'grooming gang sympathisers' just for disagreeing with you.

What a bizarre moral compass you have. Get off your high horse.

As Sick Boy said Thomas Mair was "unpredictable", so was David Copeland.

Both left and right have "unpredictable" people.

Not challenging his specific view here, in fact ivw never heard of Kirk, it's simply because once again Tony looks for reactions on the same boring agenda in every post, but never actually once again posts about City on a City forum. If off topic wasn't here he wouldn't post. Not that it has fek all to do with you once again.

Yeah, I am against grooming gangs, the people that enable them, and people that shoot others for political opinions, and those that enable them too.

I'll take my moral compass over yours.

Your moral compass says accusing people of sympathising with rapists and school kids being murdered is worth it. But calling someone divisive, good lord, the humanity of it, that's crossing a line! Weird.

If people knew where they stood with Andre Brievik 69 children would probably be adults now.

If people knew where they stood with Vance Boelter two people and a dog in Minnesota would still be alive.

Your post is detached from reality.

Anyone who carries out murder in the name of ideology whether left or right are unpredictable lunatics it’s not the reserve of one side of the political spectrum and not the other.
