Gotta be honest and say i thought thomas and Kitching both looked more than capable in the two friendlies at the arena last week, and once they were the clear established centre back partnership last season they flourished.
The constant chopping and changing at the start of last year i believe had a big impact on making any of the 4 CBs look shite. I think its a position where that trust and understanding is really key and thats only developed over time.
I totally see the need for a new CB to reinforce the position, im really interested that its an expensive younger signing we’re looking at though.
