What a pathetic attempt to try and save their goal.

Have you chinned him yet? Or was it Mowbray you were going to chin if he picked him?

(apologies if you aren't the same person...)

This is old poster juggernaut. Said burge is far superior to Rcc lol

He should have done better with goal but I wouldn't call it a pathetic attempt. He also snuffed out chsnces with his quickness off thr line going by the extended highlights.

I don think we need to worry too much about him

The shot should never be coming in but he still should be saving it.

Looked like his view was blocked and saw it late, might even have taken a deflection off the defender (Willis?). The defense was very very deep.

Think it's a bit harsh on RCC, but then I just spotted who opened the thread

Rose and Ricketts markings the same Man, DKE having no support in the lead up to the assist.

Can't say it was RCC's fault though

He palmed the ball into the net. How can you not blame him for that goal?

Really... Was at full stretch and couldn't keep it out. Should we not be looking at why he was able to get the shot away.

He's just not good enough (yet) unfortunately.

Yes he makes some wonder saves and has some great games, but he makes too many mistakes and cost us numerous points last year.

I'm not saying he's better, in fact I think they're pretty closely matched, but I'm still yet to see Burge cost us any points.

You could make a 10 minute clip of RCC's mistakes. He's made a lot of howlers.

Burge was crap when he played last season, all well and good saying you can't remember Burge costing us any points but I can't remember Burge ever gaining us any points either. His save to shot ratio must have been appalling as almost every shot ended up in the back of the net.

Tho we came back to win this game another Lee Burge classic v peterbough. Marcus Maddison's free kick that really had him fooled.
Not building a great a great portfolio himself is he?

RCC will be the next big transfer out of here, my betting is Anderson already has his transfer fee fixed in his mind. More money for the sisu piggy bank.

Seem to remember Burge saving a couple of pens which won us points.

Don't make me dig up videos of RCC's howlers, there was plenty last season. He did improve however.

Yeah your right he may have saved more pens and RCC did make his share of mistakes last season.
But right now out of the 2 RCC is way ahead in development and has further scope to improve. Has Lee Burge? My opinion is no.

He saved one penalty which he himself had given away through a very bad mistake

It was about the only save he did make in 10 matches
