I went to the Cup Final but not the Charity Shield match.A mate of mine went and said it was pretty low key but to see the thousands of City fans there made the day he remarked.It's a pre season friendly, I went after we won the cup but from what I remember it was all pretty dull and next time we win the fa cup I shall not bother going to the community shield (obviously I am planning to live to about 150 years old)

It was a great time to be a City fan and on the road all the way to Wembley.But it just reinforces how much we need one good season doesn't it,as there can't be a better feeling than to be amongst thousands of Sky Blue supporters in full voice can there ?I enjoyed the quarter final most I think as it was amazing for me to see all those away fans at Hillsborough and there was a bit less worry if we had lost.
