Just thought i'd mention there is a charity football match taking place
at the Alan Higgs Centre on Saturday 27th April kick off 1:30pm, between Chiltern Athletic, a football team based in Luton and the McGarrigle family XI, a family based in Cov, in aid of cancer research UK.
This is the second year the game has taken place, last year over £1,000 was raised, there will be a small donation to watch the game plus... raffles (including a case of Warsteiner german beer) , cake stall, food, face painting, football sweepsteak etc etc with ALL the money going to the charity.
Anybody in the area with a few hours to kill, please come along and watch the game,
