You may have already seen some details of this on social media, but it would be great if as many people as possible could support this event for 2 great charities. We'll be pushing it closer to the day, but please share and get the word out to as many as you can.
The event is to celebrate 100 years since our first EFL fixture against Spurs in 1919/20.
We do still have room for a shorts sponsor too if anyone is interested at a cost of £500. It's too late for the flyer above, but for that you will receive, 5 x free entry to the event, 5 x programmes, your company logo on the shorts, half page advert in the special centenary edition programme and a signed and framed limited edition shirt from the event (the kit will be a replica of the 1919/20 kit).
There are other as yet unconfirmed names not on the list that it would be unfair of me to post yet, but it will be a full squad of City legends. I hope as many of you are able to make it as possible.
A number of the CCPFA have been approached. That list is pretty much confirmed, but as you know things change and some family emergency or other event may take over and it would be unfair for us to list them as definite, then they don't appear and someone complains about false info or misrepresentation. At this stage we have a lot of possible/probable too, but the squad will become clearer as the time gets closer.
I saw on twitter that you might be coming tomorrow too? New venue and hope to generate some new members. Your lad will be free and you can register ahead of the event at https://www.lwccfc.club/ then take £10 on the night to get your badge and entrance to meetings for the season.

If anyone wants to play with the legends on their team (since this was produced Whelan, Dublin snd Staunton pencilled in as possibles) you could change with them, be in the dressing room for Doylers speech, pull on a limited edition replica of the iconic 1919/20 strip that you'll get to keep as a memento of the day, then you have the chance. It will be a closed bid auction, but if anyone is genuinely interested and has deep pockets please pm me for details.
It wouldn't, but I'll take that as an opening bid.
In reality, hoping for £1k, but I think if anyone has £500 that might well secure. Will be going out on CWR and the local press over the next few days.
