Last year I promoted my Charity Beer Festival and I’m going to do so again….
It’s our fourth Festival and this year we’ve evolved into a Beer and Gin Festival, taking place on Thursday 9th - Saturday 11th October, from 12:30-22:30 each day.
We’ll have over 40 craft and cask beers, plus ciders. As well as a range of gins (~15) sourced from local distilleries, alongside other spirits, wines, soft/AF drinks and even prosecco on draft (a là the (rip off!) bar in New Street).
We have live music on Friday afternoon, evening and Saturday evening. Plus hot and cold food.
For those who enjoy nice beers we have some brilliant breweries confirmed (some not yet announced); Verdant, Pollys, Brew York, Cross Borders, Vault City, Kernel, Shiny and loads more. Cider wise we have a strong selection too, including Lilley’s, Celtic Marches and Pulp. And we’ll have at least two lagers on, possibly three.
It’s all for local good causes, including Coventry based requests. One of our recent donations was for the purchase of a bespoke wheelchair for a young Cov fan who had been let down by several other organisations and charities.
Appreciate part of SBT is the anonymity, so there’s no obligation to declare you’re on here! Albeit if you feel the need I’m sure I can find you an extra beer token or two (unless we’ve ever disagreed over a player I always thought was overrated eg JCH!).
And there’s no Cov game that weekend, so it’s only boring international football to watch!
Genuinely it would be great to see a few SBT members there!
I’ve attached the poster and check out our Facebook and Instagram pages for updates and more info!
