Hey Folks,

I hope you don't mind me posting, but I wanted to let you all know about my charity fundraising which right now include an awesome signed official Coventry club ball from the first team squad.

It was donated by a friend of mine who won it an a MacMillan raffle via the club, and was very kindly donated for me to auction.

My fundraising is currently trying to raise £12000 by the end of 2012 through a combination of running road races and auctioning items donated by celebs and public figures around the world.

So far this year I have run marathons in Berlin, Glasgow & Chester as well as loads of smaller events, and fundraising is now really beginning to kick off. I'm primarily supporting Great Ormond St Hospital, Maggie's Centres & Children with Cancer UK.

The ball is among 215 signed items up for grabs right now, and there really is something for everything, I'd be thrilled if you could check out my official website >> http://twelveby12.wordpress.com
and see what is up for auction.

Thanks

Robin

Good luck pal, but need to pick you up on one thing

Its illegal to put the words "awsome" and Coventry in the same sentance...

No-one has done that for about 15 years round these parts !

Considering it's a CCFC football you know how the auction will go don't you.

"Do I have a starting bid of £5?"

Bidder 1: £5.

Bidder 2: £3!

Bidder 3: £2.50!

Bidder 4: £2!

Bidder 5: 75p

etc. etc.

In the end you the auction house manager have to pay someone to take the ball.

Good luck anyway. :claping hands:

Just looked at Freddie Eastwoods signature..It was quite good when he first did it, but its faded over time.

David Bells is all over the place

McPake hasnt finished his

Camerons looks like it was done in pencil, due to giving away another pen

McSheffreys has changed down the years, now it just looks old and out of place

Cingans just sits on the ball and rarely does anything

Jukes is big and strong, but expect it not to be there in January

Part of what I love about this kind of fundraising is the banter, the above post made me chortle.

Glad to hear Jukes is doing well though, huge fan of the big man and he was a pleasure to talk to last year. He's an absolute gent in every way, I hope for your sake you hold on to him... unless he wants to come and sign for Partick Thistle

Anyways, there's an opening bid in on the ball now much to my delight, but it's still at a bargain price so please do have a wee look if you haven't popped by http://twelveby12.wordpress.com yet. Remember there are 200+ other brilliant signed items up for grabs as well

Thanks
Robin

Final day of auction...

Hey Folks,
Just a final wee reminder that the auction ends today and while there is some high interest in the ball (thanks to those bidding already) there is still time to check out the auction...

With 215 awesome items up for grabs, you can get someone the perfect xmas present, add something to your own collection, and all while helping out some brilliant charities.

http://twelveby12.wordpress.com is the only place to be seen today

Thanks
Robin

oh dear, i fear you might stand more of a chance selling a signed picture of Harold Shipman at the moment
