The best comment was from the guy on the radio speaking about someone who had a season ticket at Northampton..

'They moved him 40 miles and he got a season ticket. They move him 40 yards to another stand and he doesn't get one!'

Brilliant :claping hands:

Proposal.
>Open south stand for Ccfc fans such that ccfc fans are behind the goal.
>Move the away support to the 'corner' under the security team viewing area.
>The "Safe zone" manned by orange coat brigade.
Where away support increases either.
>Move away support to north stand. Or by exception displace CCFC supporters to north stand temporarily as most premier league clubs do when FA CUP ticketing mandate demands more tickets for away fans.

As a final thought, this nonsense CCFC about about health and safety re safety zone etc. Every premier league game I watch...the safe zone isn't a great distance at all.
This really isn't a difficult and would permit those CCFC fans with desires to sit behind the goal to do so.

The health and safety zone isn't a club decision so either the club are lying about it, wouldn't be the first time, or the blame lies elsewhere. Maybe something for the local media to follow up and ask the H&S people why it is not a problem at every other ground in the country but is a problem at the Ricoh.

In terms of having fans behind the goal, it would be great if the whole ground was full but it isn't and if we're paying per stand there's a financial side to this as well. People complained when they tried to do the same last season so they reversed it but the stand was still empty every week. If you put home fans behind both goals which stand do you close? You're going to upset even more people if you close the east stand.
