I like many others will only go to away games and stay away from Sixfields but what if a change of Tactics is required and use the Sky cameras to vent our anger with banners and noise, surely for one game only with the potential of a massive UK audience we can vent our frustrations and it wouldn't look good on a corporate level for SISU?

What should happen is;

> At 15 minutes mark everyone stands up sings 'Take me home' or 'You are my City' and walks out and continue to sing it as we walk out the ground and clear Sixfields.
> Holding Blue Glow Sticks in the air, as we walk away from the ground, up the hill.
Could you imagine a mass departure 15 mins into a game? Sky would be all over it with there cameras.

Can someone at the Trust tell me why an idea conceived by a few of us on here similar to mine will not be realisticly considered

If you go into the ground, for whatever motive, it can be misinterpreted by Sky/Media as an increased gate, and support for the move.

The only way to send a clear, unambiguous message is to have empty home stands.

If only the people that are going anyway would walk out to signify their support for an immediate return to Coventry.

don't bother turning up if your not going to cheer the lads on 100%, like whats happening at present and is partly why they are performing so well.

If you want to protest, stay away and let the tv show empty seats

Im not with the trust but as more of us have said that we doubt it would work.
I personally think its not to bad an idea but pointless if the 1500 who currently travel to sixfields don't support it, of which i have seen no evidence to date they would !!!!
So the next best options are to have an empty ground and a protest on the hill !!!

Will the 1500 who currently watch the game from the inside of sixfields stay out? There's no evidence they would.

.... and there lies a big problem that will surely bring an us/them situation.
As you are walking out you will be walking past people who will be staying, do you persuade, ignore or have a go at them?

No, I think it is a bad idea.

There will probably soon be some wanting to do a blockade of sixfields.

If you watch league one or two matches on sky and even a number in the championship they are played infront of almost empty grounds.

Burnley v Blackburn last weeend, a lancashire derby there were epty areas of the ground everywhere,

The same with Leeds v Sheff wed a couple of weeks back,

It wont be an empty ground either, there will be 1500 there, a fifth of the ground will be full. Sky commentators "Only 1500 here today Bob" "Yes Billy, the Coventry fans are buycotting home games due to the move to Northampton" "Back to the action then Bob"

If you fill the place then have 5500, 80%, walk out and the first 15 mins an incredible atmosphere, just imagine the difference on telly of almost not being able to hear the commentators to the deathly silence of the 1500 regulars. Theres your national media.

Without the trust nothing will happen though, just 200 blokes stood on a hill, to the viewing public looking like cheapskates who wont pay to go in. They wont be heard or seen. Why would sky want to draw attention to the minority standing on the hill who are protesting in part against the football league who are in bed with sky?
