We're second having made 1457.57% profit.

Every single Championship club's profits and losses from player sales

A new study has analysed all 24 clubs in the second tier and the results show one club has made a huge profit of £50m with another is £94m in the red

Yeah, but it's nonsense. That is from 2017 to present, during which time we've paid 1.3 million for Hamer, 750K for Godden, 500K for Chaplain, 1 million for Victor plus a load of undisclosed fees. Shocking research that.

Data seems to suggest that player purchase & sales are more likely to result in big losses than profits. I imagine club owners would be saying sarcastically “oh really!”.

I guess if anything this ‘research’ supports the often reported gulf in player costs between championship and premiership clubs. Makes me wonder if promotion from the championship would be the final nail in the coffin for Coventry.

Only if you chase the impossible. Otherwise become a wba or Norwich and enjoy the ride
That said the last 4.5 years have been the impossible and on we go

We didn't pay £1.3 million for Hamer. Listen to the song, he only cost us a million

PL Income (haven't looked at the exact figures), but even finishing bottom you get ££££s plus guaranteed parachute payments. Be sensible with that and it should/would guarantee the club's future.

The true figure I think including the last set of accounts is around £9.6 vs £2.2 m which will not include Gyorkes but that will not be near £1m upfront
