Would love Pompey to do a job on Boro but it’s not likely is it?

Win promotion at Blackburn and pop open the champagne then.

If my wish was truly granted, we’d have beat Wednesday. On a personal note, securing promotion v Blackburn would be ‘optimal’ but today was missed opportunity imo.

Nonetheless, the Boro head loss continues.

Probably should’ve been sacked after the Wednesday draw…

and Leicester on Saturday.
I know it's no help in the title race but it would leave them 10 point behind them and not enough games to catch them.
Enjoy the ride.

I have been having a look at the Leicester fans forum. This is typical of the posts on there before they were relegated last season:

Didn’t realise that Portsmouth and Oxford both winning has really dragged baggies back into the relegation fight, despite how good their form has been recently.

We could still end up with both WBA and Leicester going down together

Fair play to Wednesday- they are matching Boro in the form table.

And Leicester are in better form than Blues and Sheff Utd.

Just seen that we were the last team to beat the Baggies, and they've played Saints, Millwall and Wrexham since.

Shows how in the shit they were, that even with that great run they’re still at risk (and how much everyone at the bottom bar Leicester improved a lot when it got to panic stations)

They really were the worst side I’d seen us play all season at their ground, we just rolled them over in 2nd gear.

Might be wise ploy, they had new owners this year I think,so limitless spending for a couple of years.

Wow just had a look at L1 table, looks like entire top half can still make playoffs, entire bottom half can still go down.

A decent day overall again even with just a draw. Even the most pessimistic would have to agree we're now in the Prem. I'm now left hoping my prediction of us finishing 2nd is wrong

Just Ipswich to go now. Their odds more than halved this weekend. Took a nibble at 40/1 a few days ago. Have just had a punt at 14/1. We've gone to 1/33 so still firm favourites. Have put about half my winnings from going 0-0 against Hull and a double of us drawing with Hull and Southampton to beat Wrexham. Easy come easy go

We should still make it up as Champions. A 10 point lead and +11 GD is massive even though they have 2 games in hand. Just 2 more wins and a draw means they have to win all 6.

It’s been a slow burner…just waiting for the right moment. Which may well be if Pompey relegate them next week.

I have the ideas in mind for what to post when/if they go down, but it needs to be a proper magnum opus. If it doesn’t even blow my cover, it’s a bonus.
