so we need to win our next 3 to guarantee the league against Wrexham. or hope Ipswich don’t win all theirs, surely won’t go down to the Watford game

Another decent result for us.

Let's just hope we don't take Wednesfay too lightly. We just need to stay focus and get the job done.

I’m not sure Ipswich are capable of winning three consecutive games.

They have messed up against a host of teams at home in recent weeks but I’d still expect them to beat Pompey

Boro have simply got to win all 3 of their home games to be in with a shout I think, then must not lose at Ipswich. Millwall’s remaining games they ought to be winning and if they win all 4, Ipswich have 7 games to collect 13 points which could go either way.

I want Boro to win now. Ideal scenario for me is we beat Wednesday tomorrow and celebrate the unofficial promotion.

Officially get promoted at Blackburn, another reason to celebrate.

Against Portsmouth we confirm the title, another celebration (no idea if this is actually possible).

Wrexham, lift the cup, ooh and aah at the fireworks.

Watford away, brown kit.

Portsmouth are truly wank. I expect Middlesbrough to take at least 2 of the 50,000 shots they’ll have

Best take it out first, or you could damage the compressor or something.

If there's any team that can not score against shite it's Boro so there's always a small chance

So Norwich win tomorrow and boro draw and its a perfect weekend, who’d of thought with 5 games to go the only worry is if we’ll be lifting the trophy or not against Wrexham, we’re normally thinking about getting 6th

The thing is Pompey need something out of Boro - they are at the bottom 3 - they have something to play for - my prediction 1 - 1 93 minute equaliser for pompey

Bah that might be good in the short term but it's going to make things a lot harder next season having Ipswich up especially if Saints steamroller the playoffs

It’s going to be a let down if we go up tomorrow night with no one in the stadium. I want to be there to see and be part of the pandemonium. I know going up is the be all and end all but after the league 1 win we didn’t get to celebrate it.

I will although I would prefer an actual on the pitch moment . It'll be great whatever but an actual final whistle to confirm promotion would be such a great feeling.

Would love Pompey to do a job on Boro but it’s not likely is it?

Win promotion at Blackburn and pop open the champagne then.

They haven't won at home since the end of January. In that time they've drawn to Leicester, Oxford and Bristol City and lost to Charlton.

Pompey on a poor run, but Middlesbrough not doing much better!

Won’t matter that much when both Millwall and Middlesbrough seem allergic to 2nd. All three will continue to stumble over the line but Ipswich’s greater number of games should mean that they stumble the furthest.
