This sounds like what many posters on here said about us during the blip though TBF and then we went on a wins treak
Yeh they may well regret not bringing new players inBut we brought Onyeka in to help with our issues, they're stuck with what they've got, most problematically of all, strikers that can't hit the target.
Frank then him4 points from consecutive trips to Ipswich and Boro is no fluke, you've got to applaud Neil for the job he's done at Millwall. If they get autos he deserves manager of the season imo.
They bought in Castledine, who looks like one for the future rather than the present. But we brought Onyeka in to help with our issues, they're stuck with what they've got, most problematically of all, strikers that can't hit the target.
Some of the players they signed were also ‘meh’. Sarimento and Castledine, for example, were a little overhyped but didn’t really give Boro what they needed. But we brought Onyeka in to help with our issues, they're stuck with what they've got, most problematically of all, strikers that can't hit the target.
He's a decent prospect but he wasn't ready to slot straight in to a promotion chasing team. They bought in Castledine, who looks like one for the future rather than the present.
Ipswich still have to play Boro, Norwich and S'ton....i need a paper bag to breath into.
I little bit biased but IF we win the league, Lampard has to be manager of the season.4 points from consecutive trips to Ipswich and Boro is no fluke, you've got to applaud Neil for the job he's done at Millwall. If they get autos he deserves manager of the season imo.
Bannan looks exactly what Millwall neededSome of the players they signed were also ‘meh’. Sarimento and Castledine, for example, were a little overhyped but didn’t really give Boro what they needed.
Onyeka and depth out wide is what we got and it was what needed.
I've heard of Onyeka, but who is the native american chap?Onyeka and depth out wide is what we got and it was what needed.
Birmingham won't be easy for them eitherIpswich still have to play Boro, Norwich and S'ton.
Well it’s the same thing so don’t understand why you even had to correct me,, whether making the argument that they are, or not, as putting the ball in the net a huge part of “footballing “, he has no argument at all.He said whilst he could make an argument that they are the best footballing team in the league but it counts for nothing if they can’t out the ball in the net
I’d agree if it was at Birmingham but it’s at Ipswich. Ipswich will win that easilyBirmingham won't be easy for them either
If Millwall go up, I wouldn't knock Alex Neill being chosen. Punched way above their weight. Don't really care tbh. Frank will have the freedom of Coventry in a few weeks time!I little bit biased but IF we win the league, Lampard has to be manager of the season.
Weeks ago I said I thought we'd finish on 87 - has a certain ring to itBoro can only reach 89 points now, and Millwall 90. But we have a +31 GD over Millwall so in reality 3 wins and a draw maximum does it.
I still say 87 will be enough
Boro are an excellent side at making space and creating chances... BUT, they just don't have the tenacious warriors that Millwall and we have.
Look at our wingers, Saka and EMC, even they are very brave players, prepared to go in where it hurts and horrible to play against, as well as being skilful.
We have silk and steel, Boro just have silk. Or sulk, as they will be doing tonight!
Nah i think if we go up as champions we will get the bulk of the plaudits. Millwall would deserve some too thoughI sort of don’t want Millwall to do it.
They’d steal some of our thunder
Not sure about that. Ipswich must win it but Birmingham have nothing to lose and everything to gain. They will throw the kitchen sink at them.I’d agree if it was at Birmingham but it’s at Ipswich. Ipswich will win that easily
Birmingham have the 4th worst away record in the league. Their troubles away from home are well doduentedNot sure about that. Ipswich must win it but Birmingham have nothing to lose and everything to gain. They will throw the kitchen sink at them.
