Did you think we would win yesterday? It's very likely we will win 3 or 4 of our remaining games, much more likely than Ipswich winning all theirsMaximum Ipswich can now reach is 93 points. They still have Boro, Norwich, and Southampton to play who are either in good form or also chasing autos so, much to play for. Its HIGHLY unlikely they will win all their remaining games, but should they do so, we would need a minimum of 4 wins and 1 draw to reach 93 points and hopefully GD should do it. 2 wins from our next 3 would be huge! And id say would pretty much do it. But on the off chance they do get to 93 points, where do we see our 4 needed wins coming from (1 at home to Wednesday you'd think so 3 more needed).

I’ll be amazed if we need 7 more points for 2nd.2 more wins and a draw i think gains promotion. Anything over that we win the league. The 2 wins could be next 2 home games and the draw at Hull would take us to Blackburn away. That is where i think things will become very clear and have had that game in my head for a while.
Lets see but i want to win the league now where as before promotion was more important.
Yeah but could you do long division in your head?I was 14 before a calculator became a thing.

Wish I could find that tweet from a Blues fan at the start of the season saying the Champ just wasn't ready for this Brum side or some such bollocks
Their recruitment has been absolutely appalling, whether that's down to Davies entirely I'm not sure. That said, I think tactically he's a bit one dimensional and doesn't do enough to break teams down, it's not like L1 where you're likely to be helped by higher volumes of defensive errors. It’s funny, all of last season Birmingham fan were droning on about how great Davies was and that they broke the League One points record due to brilliant management and not just the spending only for them to turn on him immediately in the Champ
In a way he was right!Wish I could find that tweet from a Blues fan at the start of the season saying the Champ just wasn't ready for this Brum side or some such bollocks
Logs and co-signs! I never had a mobile phone until the 90’s and started working for myself!I was 14 before a calculator became a thing.

Nice tweaked quote from a Boro lad there, one of Old Big 'Ead's finest.I'm not saying we're the best team in the league but I think we're in the top one.
I think if you beat Millwall you’ll end up 2nd, lose and you end up 4thNice tweaked quote from a Boro lad there, one of Old Big 'Ead's finest.
But yeah, 11 points putting you on 91 guarantees you promotion mathematically from this point.
Millwall can get 90 max, so it rules them out full stop.
As others have said we have to play Ipswich. Therefore the possible maximum points totals of both sides depending on the outcome of that game are either;
Ipswich 93 Boro 89
Ipswich 91 Boro 90
Ipswich 90 Boro 92
In no eventuality do both those sides get to 91, so your getting 91 would 100% GUARANTEE you go up, even with an unfathomable GD shift in any direction.
FWIW I obviously don't think that will end up being needed for you to get promoted . The Back to the Future fan in me would like us to go up on 88but regardless of my preference, it's most likely that we get anywhere in the region of 80 - 89 max, the lower figure representing our worst 7 game form of the season, the upper figure representing our best.
Right now I'd wager that 87 for you would probably 99.99% ascertain promotion and 89 in almost every eventuality hand you the title, especially considering your GD, though of course this may change as the games get ticked off.
They’re not finishing 2nd.I think if you beat Millwall you’ll end up 2nd, lose and you end up 4th
Tbf some of our fans turned on lampard after a blipWish I could find that tweet from a Blues fan at the start of the season saying the Champ just wasn't ready for this Brum side or some such bollocks
There were calls for him to be sacked after 10 games and to not give him a transfer budget.Tbf some of our fans turned on lampard after a blip
Chris davis probably isnt the man to get them to the next level in fairnessTbf some of our fans turned on lampard after a blip
Shhh it's nasty if you remember stuff like this apparentlyThere were calls for him to be sacked after 10 games and to not give him a transfer budget.
Ya I don't have enough knowledge of him to say he does or doesnt. They entitled to want a changeChris davis probably isnt the man to get them to the next level in fairness
They have 18 points from 20 away games , maybe too cautious
The longer they throw money at it you have to believe that it will work so I can see why fans wouldn't turn on themIf you’re Birmingham, when do you question if the yanks who have taken you over have any clue what they are doing.
In essence took the club over in 5th, got them relegated, spent a huge amount of money and brought them back to mid table championship.
How does that inspire any trust that these lot know what they are doing in the slightest especially with the ridiculous expectations. When you consider the money spent compared to someone like us or Millwall it’s actually ludicrous.
Say what you will about Wrexham, but the owners have some clever people advising them imo
Next year with financial obligations affecting them they’re gonna be in trouble. Not gonna be as fancy free chucking money at it this summer unless they offload a bunch of the talent they overpaid for for a profit. The longer they throw money at it you have to believe that it will work so I can see why fans wouldn't turn on them
Every year could be the year. Not all clubs can have same optimism
What would worry me for is the seemingly lack of identity/plan for the signings. I know people have had a pop at ours at times, but you can definitely see what we were buildingThe longer they throw money at it you have to believe that it will work so I can see why fans wouldn't turn on them

Sadly they pulled the selling the women’s team trick so they’ll be fine for awhile I thinkNext year with financial obligations affecting them they’re gonna be in trouble. Or to put it another way, I think if just the one of us 3 gets 4 points from the fixtures between us, that side is in the driving seat.I think if you beat Millwall you’ll end up 2nd, lose and you end up 4th

If 2 get 4 points or none of us get 4 points from those games (ie all draws) then it is much more open.
But yeah, if we manage to beat Millwall the confidence injection would quite potentially be huge and perhaps reignite our charge, (much the same as your beating us at the CBS did with yourselves)
