Stoke’s season is going the way of many of the games I’ve seen of theirs. Going full pelt early on and leaving nothing in the tank for the second half.
This season feels a bit different to the others though, injuries and fitness issues have been on another level. Robins seemingly has run players into the ground and not really used his squad.
Resorting to Sorba Thomas at RB kind of sums it up.
They've had so many managers I can't keep on, think the current managers at Bolton, Blackburn( plus us of course ) Millwall to name just a few have managed them and got no where with them

To be fair they are the best footballing side in the league and QPR’s manager said they were the best team they’ve played all season. Least they’ve got that eh
xG over a period of time generally proves what the rest of the team are doing before it gets to the strikers to put them in those goalscoring positions, nothing more.
If a side greatly exceeds their xG, it often means the rest of the side are mediocre, but their strikers are the dogs'bollocks, eg Hull.
If a side hits greatly under their xG, it often means the rest of the side are brilliant, but the strikers are turds, eg us.
