Feels like advantage Ipswich at the moment due to them having both of the other two left to play at home. If Millwall are to do it they’ll have to do it the hard way and it would be very impressive.

Wilder up to his boring tactics tricks again last night. Strange team selection to start with , go one up via their only shot and then attempt to defend for the rest of the game. Some odd subs , eventually lose and then blame everyone except himself . Their forum is hilarious . Deserves to be sacked .

Wilder is a good tactician and manager for the Blades usually (but fairly shit everywhere else) but he has a habit of throwing others under the bus to deflect blame from himself which can be his undoing.

There would be nerves for Ipswich and Boro against them, while they as a team look well drilled and have a strong cohesion. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see Millwall get results at both.

Agree, Millwall have a feel of a team who think they have nothing to lose, whereas Boro and certainly Ipswich will be way more twitchy about fucking it.

They've won 5 out of 6 themselves, bang in form and should easily see off Blackburn next. I feel like it'll take them going into second place for people to start taking them seriously.

We're already taking them very seriously.

Only an idiot wouldn't as Neil is a good manager and their team spirit will be second to none.

As I said in a previous post, I'd take that personally, would stop either side making up our little lead on them.

Didnt realise it would only be 1 point on both if Ipswich win their game in hand

It's an 'IF' but one that we have to think of as likely. For all their slight stutters lately, same as us, Ipswich are a decent side.

But yeah, there would just be a point in it between us and those two, so tight as a nun's chuff. We've been reigning Ipswich's GD gradually in up until last night, so that could be tight as well. The GD between us and Millwall may end up being our saving grace in the final reckoning, though it's going to knock the living shit out of my heart!

Even if we somehow manage to go up, why do we never do things the easy way? Think the last time we did was before I was born, in the 73/74 season when Jack Charlton had us finish 15 points clear of 2nd to go up to the top flight (bearing mind it was only 2 points for a win then, converted to 3 points for a game, we'd have finished 23 points clear of Luton in 2nd!) It's been over half a century, surely we're due one of those stroll of a seasons before too long!

I know it's not the Championship, but....

A Barcelona fan ended up attending an Exeter City match after appearing to mix up their St James Park stadium with Newcastle United’s home ground, St James’ Park.

The unnamed Spanish supporter is said to have travelled from London to Devon with a ticket for his team’s Champions League last-16 first leg at Newcastle – 304 miles away.

Instead of turning him away at the turnstiles, staff took pity on him and he was soon in the stands watching Exeter’s 1-0 League One defeat by Lincoln City.#

Brilliant stuff!

Host says 'in our bad run of form, we got 12 points from 9 games...If we replicate that now, we will get 89 points'.
That just shows what a good position we're in...our worst form of the season gets us 89 points, and probably the title - Insane

How did he not realise that Exeter and Newcastle aren't the same?

Didn't England fans end up in the wrong part of Russia during the world cup there? Some random city had the same or similar name to one of the host cities.

Keep our feet on the ground and tick off the remaining points we need, we're not there yet

They are awful. I sent my down in the dumps Leicester supporting mate (apologies to fellow City fans) that they would comfortably beat Bristol City, whose defence is injury ravaged, and they look totally deflated at the moment. You'll beat them by a minimum of 2 goals.
