They tell themselves that despite losing to us twice and Ipswich at home.
Good outfit, well deserving of their position but we’ve obviously been the best team in the league this season by a mile.
To catch us up, we needed to go nearly 3 months without an away win. There’s an only a month of the season left and the factors that lead to that barren run just don’t apply anymore.
They're already in trouble. 6 games ago we lost our lead by 2 points to Middlesbrough. They were the best team in the world and expected to extend their lead to 5 points after beating us. Since then they lost to us, drew at home to Oxford and Leicester, and today lost to Charlton. 8 points from their last 6 games. Lack of firepower is going to cost them.
Millwall, Ipswich and Wrexham to come. Home form has fallen through the floor. 2 points from last 3 home games. Confidence is the key.
I'm nearly enjoying watching the pile up for 2nd as I am getting the ice bucket ready for the celebrations of saying goodbye to the last 25 years of pain and struggle.
Thanks for everything King and Lampard. Onwards and upwards and I hope our journey continues together.
Possible, just not probable. We’ll get close and a more realistic target is to hit Leeds’ home form from last season which is 4-1-0 for us at home now.
We’re on course to have one of the best home records over the last 8-10 seasons, only Watford (59 in 20/21), Leeds (58 in 24/25) have surpassed 54 points at home in a season since 2014/15, we get there with 3 more wins out of 5.
