Great reply. The only numbers UEFA report are those given to them by the clubs. These are not the fanciful numbers the clubs want you to believe but the cold hard facts. They're not allowed to give BS like many Premier clubs do.

It is hugely illegal for any auditor to report "fanciful" numbers. I haven't looked who spurs auditors are, but I'd assume one of the big 4, it is ridiculous to suggest they would go on in misrepresenting Spurs true financials. It would not look favourable on them at all.

Are you saying that UEFA have given the wrong facts when the true numbers came from Spurs. And then are you saying for some reason Spurs haven't queried what UEFA have said?

Desperate measures even for you.

This is the UEFA report that the £129m figure supposedly comes from. I can find nothing in it to substantiate that claim. The figures in the UEFA report are based on the same accounts on CH.

Again, are you saying UEFA are wrong after analysing the numbers? What is in it for them to call out their massive losses?

I love the fact that you took the time to put the word "Hoodoo" in caps.

But in truth it's a tricky one. Games against yourselves are usually against a side somewhere around us in the table, so tend to have more riding on them? So the fallout is probably more in terms of effects. This you would imagine would make us think of it as worse.

But I'm going to have to go Bristol City in general. As you've generally at least been a good side since the hoodoo began, not the cannon fodder saved for a "Typical Boro." Aside from their level for one match towards the back end of last season, Bristol City have been everywhere between middling and a complete bag of shit.

With most games against yourselves too, you usually perform out of your boots and have your best game of the season more often, so at least we can say you performed spectacularly on the day, so it took a real effort to beat us. Bristol City on the other hand have had the one of those I can recall, the others they have far more often been jammy as hell or just shithoused the match, kicking lumps out of players (while the ref seems to be doing his best impression of Mr Magoo) parking the bus all game.
We hit every upright and the bar a few times, they suddenly appear to have developed a time machine to stick Gordon Banks between the sticks, then hitting about two long balls to Riis who, instead of the usual carthorse he is for the other 44 games of the season, suddenly morphs into the John Arne version from Liverpool's past and hits an unstoppable effort into our net. Then cue more shithousery than a prison toilet block and more time wasting than Burnley last season until the final whistle blows, probably early, but let's face it we could have stayed out there until midnight and the result would be the same.

So Bristol City tend to shade it, just for the sheer frustration and knowledge that not only would another 4 nil to us have been the most fair score, but that Riis and the GK will return to being an utter pile of wank up in their very next game, which can sometimes be against a side around us we could do with them taking points off.

I can't imagine spurs are in any financial danger (before any potential relegation)

New stadium prints money doesn't it? They haven't spent as much on squad as rivals either?

Out of interest, when did your games against us go from an annoying few results to a full blown hoodoo?

When three defeats turned to four; when five became six?

Did the football gods see that we'd beaten you a few times, and then to start to mix their spells and potions to turn it into a full blown hoodoo for shits and giggles, like the capricious ne'er do wells that they are?

I suggest you will be reporting Mr Kevin Thompson who was the Partner on Tottenhams audit for signing off on accounts that are not truly representative of their situation.

No, it does not say anywhere in the report that Spurs lost £129m last year. It just states that £26m loss sparks mentioned converted to Euros.

Each match ticket is now over £70. They haven't spent it because they haven't got it.

All anyone has to do is a Google search to see how bad things have got. They're not in a relegation battle for no reason.

Chelsea incurred highest pre-tax loss in English football history over 2024-25, per UEFA report

Whatever figures they're revealing they're from the unpublished 24/25 accounts I think. They've done the same with Chelsea. However, without context or further details it's meaningless.

Not sure if this is some kind of power play by UEFA against PL clubs but it's really quite bizarre.

The situation there was bizarre, either someone has to pay Chansiri £15m or they start on -15?

You’d think the EFL could judge that one differently.

It's not that they have to pay Chansiri as such, it's that the EFL rules require at least a 25p in the £ settlement for non football creditors is not being met. His debt is £60m.
