It’s not too early though is it? As proven by the fact none of you can come up with a similar signing who failed to make the squad in their first month as much as him. That’s just a get out. Like the “match fitness” nonsense because he has two weeks off two and a half months ago, like the desperate “maybe the reports of the fee are out by an order of magnitude”.

Honestly nothing amuses me more on this site than the crew who argue with everything I say regardless of how stupid the arguments have to be.

It is notable that he cost a lot and can’t get in the squad. Just say it, nothing bad will happen.

I think we might've seen him on the pitch later on, if it wasn't for the red card and reshuffle.

He'll be used in the coming games, I'm sure of it.

Not to mention the first players we took off were the wingers. Maybe the plan was to always rotate before the red

Was such a great response to going down to 10 haji should have had a couple
We were a little too defensive for me after number of players was levelled up
Also Rushworth was so so good

I was the opposite tbf.

We looked well drilled and just let them come at us knowing we had that cushion. Did think BTA did well tho when he came on late when they were running on empty

We were in the mindset and had made necessary changes to defend what we had. Its hard to just change that mindset/setup when they go down to 10 too. We managed it well and did what we needed to do.

We'd altered the shape and set the mindset to go defensive; it would have been difficult to reset again.

Plus we had the goals; no need to go for them, make them break us down.

Dasilva should’ve put the game to bed as well, should’ve finished 3-0. His attempt at a finish was comedic.

Didn’t want to rub it in after the assist

We'd set out for 45 minutes of 10 v 11 and suddenly we were 10 v 10, I thought it threw us a little, though understandably.
We looked dangerous again once BTA came on.

He also signed Dion Dublin, the best player I've seen play for us.

However, my over-riding memory of his time was horribly turgid football.

My overriding memory was of David Rennie “floating” a free kick into the arms of the opposition’s goalie.

I thought although they had a lot of the ball we were much the better side
In fact, we had a couple more gears to go up if it had been necessary.
Same as at West Brom

Stoke have now lost Wilmot for the rest of the season and have 'illness in the camp'. It will be a miracle if they get anything.

Best case is they absolutely shit their way to draw

Leicester have only won 1 league game this year and that was at home to WBA at the start of the year 2-1. Last game they were away to Ipswich and drew 1-1. That was an even bigger surprise.

They didn't lose £129m last year. Their Retained Earnings increased by £46m and now sits at £372m.

Which isn’t anything to do with whether you said. You said their wages exceeded well goes against their income. They generated more income than most Pl clubs.

Chelsea as an example “lost” £350 million over the same period. Tottenham didn’t lose that in reality at all and its costs mainly are associated with the stadium which is a debt that is met by commercial revenues which are some of the biggest in the league. The squad value is also huge.

I've just looked at their accounts, it does not show a loss of £129m anywhere. On everyday income v expenditure they are doing very nicely indeed.

Squad valued at £420m and stadium and other infrastructure at £2bn.

Even the repayments on their massive stadium debt are tiny when compared to their turnover, £10m per year which is peanuts to them. They've got £90m in cash in the bank.

Me neither, but i also get the expectation that the journey may be more fun than the destinaton.

I want us to go up, obviously, and succeed at as high a level as possible for as long as possible, but I also think that, all things considered, there probably isn't as exciting a league anywhere as the Championship.

Good quality, well supported clubs with dedicated, local fanbases, highly competitive and utterly relentless.

Will the teams playing us and the standard of football be higher? Yes. Will it be as much fun? That remains to be seen.
I am very excited to go up. If we do, I will bask in the glory of that for as long as we can , because next season could be a pretty grim watch and I can quickly see fans turning on Lampard if we have a bad start.

Trying not to think about it too much and trying to keep the focus on us gaining promotion now.

We deserve our day in the sun, even if it's going to be a torrential downpour next season.
