He draws a lot of fouls, bookings and sending offs and gets back up and goes again. Physically imposing isnt always a huge orc stomping around the pitch.

Tbf I was talking about the physicality of this particular match, and if we came up against Birmingham playing at this intensity and physicality we would struggle. ( Just as Ipswich are).

The reply was to that was that we have a really physically imposing team now.

Two poor sides at the moment. Neither showing quality in front of goal.

Number 5 for Ipswich miles off it. Surprised they got rid of both Luongo and Morsy - good players for them in championship.

He's come from Ligue 1, they don't play with anywhere near as much intensity as this

Reminds me of BTA! He's had 3 chances and a bit of a cool head he would have got them on target but like BTA can't slow down and goes for a Hollywood strike and get no where near the goal

Blimey, only just noticed Brum's bench. They've got very very good depth this year.

I’ve been impressed with Brum. Good energy levels, great press. That said… so much space to counter press, Brum are wide open! I’d imagine McKenna will be livid, calm the players down string a pass together and they’ll be through. Clarke and Matusiwa you’d be thinking about taking off pretty sharpish.

Yeaaaahhhhh but I also think it’s the first game of the season, a raucous crowd and they’re feeding off it. Not sure they’ll play like this away from home or in a few games time when it settles down.

im not overly impressed with either side but its the first game tbf

Well before their goal they’d caused no great danger, but Ipswich just can’t get hold of the game. They’ve been shocking.

That was pretty awful defending by Ipswich, everyone stood round watching the rebound.

Greaves had a great view of that just lying on the floor watching. Shite defending from the lot of them.

Horrendous defending from O'Shea, way behind the line and just completely oblivious

As I've said.
Strong, quick, well organised.
They'll be very difficult to beat at home.
