One game at a time for us - every game get the atmosphere we had vs Boro and we will sail this

Its a 3 way race now, forget the others and I'd probably assume Ipswich win their game in hand. So 5 points on both

I tend to agree but Millwall play both Ipswich and Boro away so they do have a remote chance to piss on their parades.

For us, it’s completely optimal because in a situation Millwall beat both teams more or less guarantees we finish in the top 2 because Ipswich and Boro play each other. If we continue at our current run rate, we’ll hit 93-94 which would be close to max points in for all 3 teams.

That port vale pitch is awful. Bristol will have some tired legs tonight

That’s fine to believe that and perfectly reasonable. You said they were a threat to boro and Ipswich which I do too, but I think that must include us too for the time being. It’s fair if you don’t think that, but 11 games is a lot at this point.
It doesn't and this is what you aren't getting. Ipswich and Boro are a threat to us, Millwall are an (outside) threat to Boro and Ipswich.

Fingers crossed Vale can win it, so we benefit.

But if Bristol lose will they not be full of fire for us to appease the fans ?

Umm…I don’t really know what else to say haha. I’ve said your position is fair, but I just don’t agree with it. Milwall still in contention imo, but you seem to think it is a categorical fact they are not. I ‘get’ what you think and just disagree (for now).

Not on this showing they are terrible against port vale. They will be knackered after this

It's bizarre, teams win games you'd probably expect them to and it's the end of the world. We are in the driving seat.

Imagine if we were in Boro’s position… Only 3 points ahead and Ipswich have a game in hand whilst they still need to go Portman Road.

The odds that we’ll go up is comfortably 90% from this point, I don’t know why so many people panic like sheep.

It’s mostly their reserves starting but it will likely mean they get nothing done tomorrow and we can play them whole our form is still hot.

I think they are still in contention for second place if Ipswich and Boro both fall away.

0-0 would've been a fair result, but it took a wonder goal to beat Hull. Close margins. Hull will be tough to beat. Why can't Ipswich play Wrexham every week? Anyway they're up against Leicester at home next and in the reverse fixture Leicester beat them. So hoping for a similar outcome.

Agree, we have the momentum so don’t want this game to be off.

IF Ipswich beat Pompey and are ahead of us on GD, even if we were to get a win against them it may have to be a huge score as I'm more confident of our chances against them than I am of beating Bristol City....

I originally wanted Bristol through to get 3 home games on the spin and really stack up the points, but I do fancy us to go there and get something atm.

They could be two behind us by the time we play Preston on Weds if we don't play on Saturday.

We'd be under a bit of pressure though?

Just found coverage of the Port Vale match. Pitch looks much better than Grimsby’s ground.

From my rough knowledge of Bristol City, most of their strongest team as I recognise it at a glance either started or has been subbed on.
