Sheffield United fines increase to £445,500 after Plymouth fracas
Sheffield United are fined £180,000 after the latest incident at Plymouth in what the FA says is an "incredibly poor period of behaviour".www.bbc.com
Has a team ever done consecutive promotions from league 2 (or 4th division) to the PL (or 1st division)?
I reckon we could sell Allen to either of them for 5 millionMy main worry is those two pushing prices for average Championship players tbh. Though I suppose we benefit from the other side if we’re selling this summer.
I think that Northampton did back in the early 60’s, but then went back down almost as fast.Has a team ever done consecutive promotions from league 2 (or 4th division) to the PL (or 1st division)?
Not only beaten to it, but by someone who knew the details better…I think Northampton in 50s/60s are closest doing it in 5 seasons, only took them 4 more seasons to be back in division 4.
Wilder should have received a touchline ban and it should have been for Saturday or a points deduction which would be waiting until they are next in the championship.Whoops..

It was a bit before my time but I remember reading about it in the 70s. I thought they done had both promotion & relegation in 3 seasons which would have been even more impressiveNot only beaten to it, but by someone who knew the details better…
Which would be a good season for themSounds like a lot of money but it isn't. It's a big jump from League 1 to the Championship. 30m is just 3m for 10 players on average. We had 40m when we sold Gyokeres and Hamer. It could work out well.for them but the odds are it won't. 30m should get them an average Championship side.
Bottle it up mate and remember it when it finally comes goodJust in the kitchen making a cuppa and my mind began to wander, as it does for people my age
A penalty kick away from a potential premier league position
A toe away from a Wembley FA Cup final
A minute away from a potential play-off final again
I don't think there are many teams in the space of 3 years that have gone through the same as us
Glass half empty says, woe are we
Glass half full says, we can do it again
PUSB
Should be points after a while rather than moneyWhoops..

Wrexham have £30m to spend on transfers apparently
To win the title, a lot lower to be promoted. We’re 10/1 to be promoted next season. Stick a load on now.
lol, at least they had that pitch invasionNorwich City close to appointing Bristol City boss Liam Manning

There is alot of delusion. I’m not informed enough to give detailed view, from what I’ve seen, they will be top 10 I would expect, perhaps challange depending what they spend. Goals is issue for me and how good are they defensively? They have couple of nice players on ball in middle.Question for those who pay attention to league 1, how good is this Blues side compared to Ipswich one from a couple of years ago & are they genuine contenders to do back to back promotions ? Appreciate it’s hard to predict until the window is closed as we expect them to be big spenders but those that are more informed were backing Ipswich to do well as soon as they were promoted.
The blue noses I know think they are the 2nd coming of the Brazil side from the 70’s but they always have been deluded
it's a 11.9% loan isn't it?There is alot of delusion. hilarious how they think Wagner is 2nd coming of Christ, if they deliver all they say, FairPlay, however be interesting at the first hiccup, Wagner is a front for hedge group - they will want money back…….blues fans just seem to think there are no strings attached…..
Wrexham need a lot of investment, zero pace in that team and will struggle unless quite a lot of an injection

wrexham, the need better younger players and a better manager
i'd love them to keep himParkinson probably deserves some slack. I imagine people would have written off Robins as he took us up the leagues.
This season will be a litmus test for him and Wrexham. Same with Birmingham to be fair.
Had to google who he was seems to have had a good 2nd half of the season for Norwich last year
