Could be worse. At least they're not second in the league.

that illustrates how our wingers don’t get behind defences so our attackers can run onto the ball and attack it. Force the defenders into a position where they are facing their own goal.

Saka and EMC cut inside to much. Don’t get a cross in. Don’t get a shot away. Dasilva despite his high positions rarely puts crosses in. Even if our wingers do put crosses in they are often delayed and the best angle missed.

At least Esse took risks in and around the box and tried to force issues.

That illustrates you’re talking bollocks about them not playing a low block is what it illustrates.

Watching these games over the last couple of nights highlights that;
We are too soft.
We lack desire.
Our energy levels in relation to the above are below that of other sides.

We may have better natural footballers in some areas of the pitch than other sides, but to coin a bit of an old footballing phrase,
Other teams seem to just "want it" more than we seem to.

BUT we were doing just that at the start of the season, so what's happened to change it????

the games against tonight’s teams (Brum, Oxford and Norwich) arguably cost us our lead at the top, three games we should’ve won and won easily, and yet we dropped 8 points

Southampton have been shocking since appointing their interim manager permanently. I wouldn’t be surprised if they sack him before the end of the season.

Ha.

The BBC Sports app went nuts tonight

3-1 at 90 + 8 mins. Even though Southampton scored in the 82nd and 86th min and then 96th min.

Southampton 3 points off playoffs.
Sheffield United were top of the last 15 table before last night.

Typically teams starting to fire ready for our run in!!

The app also said that both the Tottenham and Man Utd games had +24 minutes of extra time!

A dramatic return of Fergie time

I really want to enjoy and embrace Fester’s relegation battle and then I realised that we need them to spawn points off Middlesbrough, Ipswich, Hull and Millwall in their run in

WHY are we actually not allowed anything nice

I suppose it all boils down to whether they get a new manager and he can turn things round for them

A manager can't be responsible for what his players do on the pitch? OK

And you don't leave Brau 1v 1 for fucks sake, that's on Lampard.

Never mind Brau, you don't leave any player 1 on 1 when your winning with 15 min left. It's schoolboy stuff.
